Cottage vacation rentals in Lympstone

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay! Beautiful cottage that was superbly clean, lovely location with plenty to do nearby (within 20mins or so drive, plus greatwalks and pubs on the doorstep). We bumped into the hosts a couple of times and they were really friendly. Normally as a family we like to stay in diffeent properties when we head away but we are already exploring dates to return here in the Summer.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Our family of five, which includes three adult children, thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Nest. It is as pictured and described and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights, which included a wedding at a nearby venue, spending time in all the different areas of the cottage, and going for a lovely circular walk from the door. Many thanks Sarah

Ok, if you are looking at this cottage and wondering whether to book it....just do it, stop wondering. You can thank me later. The quiet hits you first, only birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. A genuinely beautiful, tranquil cottage, simply but lovingly presented with all the things you need. A kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. A spotless shower room, and a separate lavatory complete with wash basin. The lovely large bed, comfortable chairs, table and bookcase all highlight the time and effort the hosts have spent creating something special. Hot tub ? Yes, very private and very relaxing too. The hosts had fired up the wood burner so that when we arrived the water was nice and toasty, perfect to enjoy the sweeping view to the valley below. (Bring flip flops or crocs as the path to the hot tub has an area of gravel). In short, we have absolutely loved time here. Many thanks Rhys & Lizzie for making it possible.

This is a fantastic place to stay and Emma and Kevin are the perfect balance of friendly while also giving you privacy. The whole place is so well equipped and the wood-fired hot tub is so relaxing, even in the rain! The location is fantastic for Dartmoor and Totnes, and the local pub is fab.

Booked for a surprise birthday treat for my wife, when we arrived she was over the moon! Beautiful house, private garden with hot tub. Everything you need throughout & the most comfortable bed! Lovely treats of Prosecco & freshly baked bread on arrival, great touch! Alison & Jeremy were really friendly, responding quickly with any request. If the grandparents will take the kids again for a few nights we’ll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Harbour Cottage was lovely and clean and in a perfect location. It had everything we needed and more, the cream tea that was left for us when we arrived was a wonderful touch too. Plenty of beautiful beaches to explore nearby and some wonderful restaurants, we highly recommend!

The Nook was a lovely cottage right in the centre of town close to all amenities, it was also quiet, the cottage had everything in it that you could wish for and the thought that has gone into it is exceptional especially regarding dogs. We were so grateful that Tania was able to accommodate us at very short notice. We will definitely be returning

The converted stable was rustic and lovely, with a unique staircase and beautiful surroundings. The orchard on the property was beautiful to wander around. Right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park giving us plenty of choices for walking with the dogs and plenty of pubs to choose from in the evenings.

Beautiful house in a perfect spot / base for our holiday. Luke was a great host, helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely go back again.

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. Gill made the whole experience extremely easy and peaceful. The house was well equipped. It was lovely to receive a welcome pack. Wish we could stay longer. We highly recommend it.

Stunning location, very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Plenty for the children to see and do, with plenty of space and a large garden including some outdoor games to play. Our girls loved staying here and we can’t wait to visit again.

Had an amazing bank holiday weekend! The property was a brilliant home base for exploring the area and a great place to unwind. The area is nice, quiet and everyone was friendly. Nancy was an amazing host she responded within minutes to anything I through at her. Had an amazing time defo recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Vickery's Cottage. It was clean, bright, comfortable, everything needed for a weeks stay. The beds were very comfortable too. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Mike’s place was a good value and very cute for our 2 nights in Lyme Regis. The location was lovely. The babbling river was lovely at night. Note the parking is nearby up a very steep hill and is paid. We enjoyed walking everywhere in the city. We had very nice food. The bed and pillows were not terribly comfortable but the flat met our needs.

Kilnside was a wonderful stay — beautifully clean, well appointed, and very peaceful. We especially loved the excellent shower, fully equipped kitchen, and lovely outdoor space. Ange is a wonderful host with great communication. Already looking forward to returning!

Enjoyable stay in this home from home!

Christine and David's place is a fantastic and they are lovely hosts. It's a great location and easy to get to most places. We had a medical emergency on our stay and Christine and David were so accommodating and lovely. Perfect home for a family get away with children. Really enjoyed the accommodation thank you again.

We loved our stay at Bickham Cottage - it’s such a homely place and the surroundings are beautiful. Ed is a great host and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. We really enjoyed relaxing walks around the garden next to the cottage and getting to know all the friendly dogs. We’d love to visit again!
