We had a lovely 8 night stay in this cozy cottage by the canal. The bed was comfy, the place was peaceful, and Noortje was a kind host who even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens. There was some parking lot construction early on and occasional activity from the business next door, but nothing major. Just a heads-up: check-in and check-out were in person (not self-service), and there was a tourist tax to be paid in cash at the end, which wasn’t mentioned upfront in the listing. Overall, a great spot for a quiet getaway.

A very cozy cottage with lots of greenery around. Lovely to look out, even in the rain and wind. Saskia is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended for when you want to sit in the greenery. And nice decor, cozy and personal.

A place that is perfect for a quiet stay. Everything you need is available in the apartment. The bicycles with which you can easily reach Medemblik in 15 minutes are very great. Very nice communicative landlords. Thank you for the welcome gift.
