Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lumbarda

It is a great location and is very picturesque. The online pictures don't do it justice. The house has everything you need and more. We met with Mario on arrival, who welcomed us and provided us with handy local information.

Villa Belpur is a lovely large, modern villa with a spectacular pool area that’s even better than the pictures. Set back from the road near Pitve, the location is beautiful. Communication with owner Tina at Tranquilladria was mostly excellent, including all sorts of very helpful local info, recommendations and bookings. We used the driver, Marko, for nights out in Hvar (book in advance) and Jelsa which worked really well, we also had a hire car which we’d recommend as there’s lots nearby but not easily walkable. We were disappointed to be told only on check-in by the local property manager that the hot tub was inoperative. That said, Tina subsequently offered compensation and even made efforts to arrange some time for us in a local spa which was very much appreciated, and overall we really enjoyed our time at Belpur and would recommend it for larger parties in particular.

Our host met us at the ferry and helped us get into the house. He recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Great views from the two terraces at the house. It had everything we needed. Washing machine was a real plus. Great walks nearby.

Mario was extra nice and he even let us stay latter than the check-out accorded because there wasn’t another guest arriving. He even came to pick us up at the port. We really enjoyed our stay because the house was pleasant and the island beautiful! :)

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen in Davors Haus! Besonders der tolle Pool hat uns und vor allem den Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf die Bucht zu der man auch sehr schnell zu Fuß gelangt(Badeschuhe nicht vergessen-es gibt viele Seeigel ) Davor war jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps schnell zu erreichen und immer sehr freundlich! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

The house and the nature around are otherworldly. The house is situated far from any civilization, and we've barely seen any neighbors during our stay, so it's perfect for people tired of the big city. But please note that you need a car in order to move around, since the house is 5 km from the nearest civilization. The house itself has everything you might need in terms of utensils and equipment, but is solar-powered, thus heavy electronics will wear the battery down fast. We were fine with 2 phones and 1 laptop, but it also depends on how sunny it gets during your stay. As to getting there, you also need to plan your trip around the ferry schedule, cause it's the main way to get from the island to the mainland. Zlatko is a great person, helped us get there, and left some treats for us. Totally recommend the experience.

Proveli smo predivan odmor u ovoj kućici smještenoj u mirnoj uvali. Ova lokacija je pravi raj za one koji traže mir, tišinu,prirodu koja oduzima dah i kristalno čisto more. Sama kućica je vrlo udobna i opremljena sa svime što je potrebno za ugodan boravak.

Such a fantastic few days! A huge thank you for helping us with the transfers too! Such a beautiful home and a 2 minute walk into the beautiful Vela Luka. Would highly recommend nothing we can fault!

Wir haben eine Woche in Insa und Zorans Appartement verbracht, dort wurden wir freundlich empfangen, sogar Wassermelone und etwas vom eigenen Olivenöl wurden uns als Willkommensgeschenk zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Lage und Aussicht sind phänomenal. Wir können die Unterkunft bedenkenlos empfehlen.

Miejsce bardzo spokojne i urokliwe. Prywatna plaża, leżaki i parasole do dyspozycji. Apartament dobrze wyposażony, pralka w łazience. Kontakt z Aną bardzo szybki i sprawny. Okolica bardzo cicha, do sklepu i konoby kilka kilometrów. Jeżeli szukasz spokojnego miejsca z cudownym widokiem to bardzo polecam.

Lovely spacious apartment about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 15 minutes to a pebbly beach, which was not at all crowded at the end of May. Stari Grad is a great town with some really good restaurants. Everything was good in the apartment and has a balcony to wind down on in the evenings. The view from there is lovely, with a little bit of sea in view along with the hills and plain. The crockery situation has been sorted and the flat is now well equiped with plates, bowls and cutlery. A couple of cooking equipment additions would make it perfect. It's a perfect base to explore the north of the island and, if you want to avoid the hustle of Hvar Town, this is the place. We were really appreciative of the late check out as it enabled us to get one more swim at the beach in. We would thoroughly recommend this appartment.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij de familie Duzevic. Het appartement is erg schoon, met een goed uitgeruste keuken, een fijne douche en een goed bed. Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van het centrum met supermarkt, bakker en fijne restaurants. De familie is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er werd groente gedeeld uit de tuin - zo lief! Wij bevelen dit appartement ten zeerste aan!

Our stay was beautiful, my husband and I went but went the whole 4 room villa out. We read reviews and didn’t want to share the home, there is also only one room with AC so we were happy to have that! You are located in a small village which is beautiful but there is two restaurants and one very small market. It’s a little bit of a difficult walk to the water / bottom but the views and little beaches are well worth it! I do wish there was coffee and water supplied with the stay, but she did provide beach towels which was nice. The local pizzeria was our favorite, we ate multiple meals and drank tons of beer there! The water and sunsets were great! Bring goggles so you can swim with the fish! There is also an upstairs and downstairs rental so you may be sharing the pool area with other guest but it wasn’t bad.

We had a truly wonderful stay! Our host was absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our trip. He gave us great recommendations on what to see and do in the city, and even treated us to some delicious homemade wine, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The apartment was squeaky clean, peaceful, and quiet, with a stunning view that we enjoyed every single day. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of utensils and appliances—everything we needed and more, which made cooking super convenient. Any time we needed something, he or his family responded immediately and were always happy to help, making us feel completely at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with kind, attentive hosts and top-notch hospitality!

We were visiting family who live in Stari Grad and the flat was very close to the centre of town where they live and easily walkable. The parking spot is convenient if you rent a car. The path to the cross on the hill is about a 5min walk.

Nenad is an amazing host that is responsive and helpful. He showed us a short path to town and provided great suggestions during our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer as the house and pool proved to be an oasis with great privacy for a few days!

This is our second stay and was even better than the first. There was amazing communication and flexibility for check in/check out. We were greeted with a fridge full of fruit, milk, juice and snacks. The pool had an issue and it was resolved immediately and host kept of checking in to make sure all was ok. Very helpful local tips for eateries nearby as well as clinics on a Saturday. They were accommodating when our friends arrived and brought over an extra set of linens. The house itself has very comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms with enough space to feel together but separate all the time. We had family meals prepared in the kitchen and the exterior table was perfect for games and watching the night come in. We cannot say enough positive things and will probably be back for a 3rd visit next summer.

Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit im Refugium von Marta- der schönste Sonnenuntergang, mit Liebe eingerichtet und sehr zum wohlfühlen. Nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Meer und eine herrliche Landschaft und Umgebung..

A lovely spot in Stari Grad, one of our favorite stops in Croatia. It’s quiet and charming, and the house is very well located close to everything. Lots of steps to walk up, that’s the only issue if you have limited mobility.

We have had a great time in beautiful Stari Grad! The villa is im a great location and extremely well equipped, with copious comfortable outdoor seating. Eva has been so helpful in local knowledge and even picked us up from the port and took us to the villa. The villa is in walking distance to stari grad which has a wide selection of bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend the villa and would like to thank Eva and Dragan for looking after us so well!!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, die Woche verging leider wie im Flug. Die private Lage inmitten der schönen Natur ist einzigartig und den liebevoll bepflanzten Garten von Antonija und Ante kann man nur lieben. Die Aussicht und die tägliche Erfrischung im Pool sind unbeschreiblich. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause. Die Insekten haben nicht gestört, es war eher interessant das Leben zu beobachten. Die Wespen kommen nur zum Trinken und interessieren sich nicht für uns. Beim Essen hatten wir immer eine Zitronella Kerze angezündet und somit keine Probleme mit Insekten. Wer die Natur und einen privaten Ort zum Energie tanken sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben! We had a lovely stay at Andelkas villa. The view down to the coast from the pool was beautiful. As a group we really liked the outdoor kitchen and pool area. The villa was only a short drive from lots of beaches and the lovely towns of Jelsa and Starigrad. The parking was situated away from the villa and was a bit tricky at times, but we always managed to find a space.

Our family had a wonderful time at Tanja’s home! With 5 adults and 2 kids under 7, we felt comfortable. The view from the bedrooms and pool were stunning and the pool was perfect! The house is located on the main road but is set up on a hill with lots of steps. We enjoyed exploring the area. There is a walking path just across the street and down the stairs and another up the road where you can park and walk down. A must do for beautiful rock beaches! We explored Gradac which was a short drive up the road - pizza take out, ice cream, a giant swing on the beach, and dinner outside on the water. There is also a Plodines (grocery store) just up the street. The house is about half way between Dubrovnik and Split - just under 2 hrs each way which was perfect for exploring. I suggest checking out Makarska (Riva Resturant!) when heading towards split and Mali Ston (Kapetanova kuća) when heading towards Dubrovnik. Tanja was extremely helpful and such a wonderful host!
