This 2.5-room apartment close to the city with free parking is very quietly located on a cul-de-sac and surrounded by greenery. Within walking distance it is only 3 minutes to the bus and 5 minutes to the lake promenade. So the city of Lucerne can be reached in 8 minutes or completely on foot along the popular lake promenade in about 15 minutes. The house is older, but the decor is modern or partly new. There's one separate bedroom and a loft area upstairs with two beds next to each other in the open space. Also, there's a sofa bed. There's only one bathroom in this apartment which is in the bedroom. This apartment has a pretty large terrace, though. It has a very nice view of the mountains "Bürgerstock", "Gemsstock" and the rooftops of other houses in the city.

Loved the place. It is hardly 10 mins walking distance till from the train station and we loved the area. The place was clean and all basic amenities were there. Céline was such an amazing host, she kept few snacks and basic essentials in the room. Me and my husband prepared breakfast as well there and enjoyed living there.

This airbnb home is highly recommended. Close to Luzern and Schachen train station. Everything was in place and it felt like we are at own home. The place is very peaceful and you can hear cowsbell ringing almost all a time 🤩. one can also enjoy dinner in balcony with a view of sunset, mountains and cows 😍😍. You can find almost everything in kitchen that is essential. In nutshell, it's just perfect home to stay. Thanks Ruth for arranging such a beautiful stay. Ruth is very kind and friendly 😊 and she also responses very quickly to your queries and ensures that everything is perfect 😊👌 Tip: When you take direct train from luzern to schachen, make sure you that you exclude seating in first three coaches I.e. starting three coaches from Luzern side and prefer seating in middle coaches. Since train is long, you will be not able to open doors of those first three coaches when you arrive at schachen station.

My husband & I only stayed for 2 nights. It's about 15 minutes walk to Luzern train station, Pier 1 to go to Mt. Rigi, & Old Town Lucerne (countless restaurants to choose from). Also, a good base to hike Stoos Ridge. The area is safe, the place itself is very clean & comfortable. There's a fridge (top shelf only) for guests to use and a small nook to drink coffee/tea. On our first night, they were playing Bob Dylan's record 😉 🙌🏽 Overall, we had a pleasant stay! Thank you, Richard/Betsy, for sharing your home!

We had a great 2-night stay at Tanja’s place in Luzern. Tanja was very welcoming and made us feel right at home from the start. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is great, right in the center of Luzern and about a 15-minute walk from the central station. We really enjoyed our time here.

The location is beautiful, tucked in a hillside of Weggis, the host offered pickup and drop which was very useful because it’s a little far from the ferry stop. But it’s worth the view and location. They also offer fresh breakfast to start off the day or a hike which is great especially in a place like Weggis.
