Waterfront vacation rentals in Lucerne District

Definitely recommend Rita’s place to everyone who enjoys peaceful retreat with only 25 mins to Interlaken. They are wonderful hosts, always responsive, helped a lot during our stay!

We spent two weeks at Brigitte and Sepp's place while visiting family in Switzerland. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We absolutely loved it. This has been a most amazing and wonderful experience. Brigitte and Sepp are kind, wonderful people and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Brigitte and Sepp's. The apartment is upstairs with a separate entrance, and has a full kitchen and three bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had everything and more than we needed for our stay. The nearby villages of Sattel and Steinerberg have all the necessities for daily live, i.e. small grocery stores, bakeries, banks, gas stations, restaurants. The town of Schwyz is about 20 minutes away and has bigger shopping centers and more amenities.

The Townhouse in Luzern was such an amazing experience. Fabian and Pietro share the most beautiful and comfortable space in a spectacular location near everything you need for your visit. They add so many special accoutrements for their guests and we felt comfortable and so welcomed. We travelled with our 3 daughters (26, 20, 15) and 2 boyfriends also joined us! We had plenty of room and loved every minute of our stay! We will absolutely return!

Great, the stay was very comfortable

Can't say enough great things about Akman's two apartments I stayed in during my visit!! The views of the Rhein were so beautiful. Beyond that, the apartments were both fabulous - the kitchens fully stocked, wonderful Nespresso machines in both with a full complement of espresso capsules. Everything worked great, the beds were all comfy, and the apartment living space was large for one or two people. The building is very secure, check-in was easy, and Akman was gracious and extremely responsive. This is the first owner I will check with upon my future return!!

Amazing views, nice apartment, close to the town. About 30 min drive to Lucerne. Would stay here again.

Liene and Jurg were the nicest Hosts we have EVER met❤️❣️From the moment I met Liene, I felt INSTANTLY connected with her. She came to pick us up upon our arrival at the boat pier and drove us to the house and helped us with the luggage down the stairs. She walked us thru the house to familiarize us with everything and even made me a delicious espresso with her very fancy DeLonghi espresso machine. Communications with her were instantaneously with immediate responses. She was instantly on top of everything. She’s SUPER HOST ❣️❤️. The view from the enormous balcony was totally MAGNIFICENT ‼️. There was a plethora of supplies - we wanted for nothing — the kitchen was stocked with everything in the world you need should you have the desire to cook at home. All appliances were very high end. The bus stop at the foot of the stairs was so convenient for touring around. We felt like we were in Heaven. We really hated to leave. We will definitely make it a point to come back❣️🤩🤩🤩🤩

Patrick’s place was beautifully furnished and has a great layout. We loved it for its convenience but it was a bit hard to get to. There is some construction occurring next door so that may be a disturbance for a while. Otherwise, a nice comfortable space with all the conveniences of home. Great grocery store across the street as well.

This year, we visited Marcello & Sandra’s lovely home once again. As always, it’s a clean, charming, and stylish place. It’s also a peaceful, quiet, and calm Airbnb home. Marcello answered all our questions and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. He is a very attentive and warm host. We’re thinking of staying here again.

We had a very nice stay in Flumenthal with Anne. She lives locally and is very helpful. The garden around the house was beautiful and modern from the inside. Would definitely recommend the place and look forward to coming back soon.

Pleasant stay in this charming apartment decorated with Esther's beautiful illustrations. Esther had provided us with the GlarnerlandPass which allowed us to travel for free throughout the valley by public transport. However, this requires a little organization as there is only one train per hour. Beautiful playgrounds for children, such as the one right next to the apartment and a great time spent at the Kinderbaustelle in Luchsingen.

The five of us felt very comfortable in this house. Each room has its own bathroom. The house is open and spacious. Advantageous if the weather is not so good. So everyone can find a private place. And the kitchen invites you to cook. The view of the lake and the "Niesen" is fantastic. We spent a relaxing and great week at Lake Thun. Thank you, Hosts! G.H.

Pleasant stay in this spacious, fully-equipped duplex studio located in a pleasant residential area, near the Rhine. The vast space available and the calm were particularly appreciated with the children. Thank you to Leonore and Bea for the welcome and responsiveness!

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. It is very comfortable, decorated with love and great taste. Everything is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week-long stay as a small family. Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping. You can do so much - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

Barbara’s place was very well equipped, clean and felt very homely!! The view from the balcony is also very beautiful! Strongly recommend it!

Very understanding and helpful host. We caused some concern on our end with who was staying where and when and we were able to work it all out I believe. It is a wonderful home and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay near interlaken snd all there is to do around the Swiss alps. Loved our stay!

Such an amazing stay!! We were here for a week and it was idyllic and peaceful. Emmetten is a friendly town in a beautiful setting. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Maya was an excellent host. She is very responsive and even brought us some eggs from her hens. The Volg grocery store is about a 4 minute walk, but there is also Ruadis Marcht which is even closer. We loved this little store. If you are into buying local, stop by. They bake different types of sourdough bread daily and you can get fresh eggs, pastas, dairy and meats from local producers. There were excellent hiking trails all around. We had an amazing stay and would recommend Maya’s place to anyone.

This accommodation was gorgeous and comfortable, and right near the waterfront. The entire place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. There were nice hiking and walking areas nearby. It was peaceful and quiet during our stay and we felt right at home. Nicolás and Kristy’s place is in such a beautiful spot, we ran into some trouble with renovations going on in the area and they were very helpful with our concerns. It was out of their hands and they still helped us out! Recommend a trip down to the little restaurant down by the river as well!! A great stay

My wife and I had a magical few days at Rita's loft. The situation is incredibly tranquil with lapping water and birdsong and the Loft is thoughtfully designed with a high spec and everything we needed. Rita was a friendly, informative and responsive host and we look forward to returning soon.
