The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. Absoluter Geheimtipp für Alle mit kleinen, wendigen Autos... Das Haus ist wunderbar idyllisch in den toskanischen Hügeln oberhalb der Stadt Pescia gelegen. Ein unvergleichlicher Ausblick! Die Sonne draußen genießen und den Blick über die Olivenbäume schweifen lassen, dazu ein Glas Wein - was will man mehr?!? Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und weitestgehend mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Da ich leidenschaftlich gerne koche, habe ich einige Utensilien vermisst, aber die grundlegenden Dinge sind vorhanden. Man kann ja auch einfach in eines der tollen, landestypischen Restaurants in der Umgebung gehen. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten wie die Strände bei Viareggio oder ein Besuch von Florenz und viele hübsche Orte zum Schlendern dazwischen. Aber ja, man muss natürlich erstmal den Hügel rauf und runter kommen. Ganz ehrlich, wir haben nur zwei der unzähligen engen und steilen Haarnadelkurven gemeistert, bei allen anderen waren zwei Anläufe mit Rückwärtsfahren nötig.

Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!

Das Haus war wunderschön gelegen und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt! Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen gemütlichen und erholsamen Urlaub benötigt! Die Kommunikation klappte reibungslos und war unglaublich freundlich. Die Umgebung lud zur Erholung ein - der fußläufig zu erreichende Fluss war das absolute Highlight! Wir haben jeden Abend auf der Terrasse gesessen und dem Rauschen des Flusses gelauscht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall gerne noch einmal dorthin fahren und das Haus unbedingt weiter empfehlen!!!
