Whimsical Tree Cabin Bride Valley Jurassic Coast

HaideeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a lovely & relaxing stay at Evelyn’s lovely cabin. She gave clear instructions for us to find it and had no issues when we arrived quite late due to our drive down. Warm, clean and comfy cabin in a peaceful location - lots of fun and space for kids to run about. The little loft sleeping space is also brilliant for kids. Evelyn was extremely kind and helpful and made our trip complete. Definitely recommend a stay here for a small family and some R&R. Short drive to the Jurassic Coast which was great fun for us.

The Beech Hut

SarahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We simply loved the beech hut for a NYE escape from the madness. The hut itself is just perfect. Everything you could need all fitted in to the lovely space. The attention to detail and hotel standard bedding was a real treat. Although compact it is so well set out and the shower was lovely. Being able to see and listen to the birds, the stream and the weather from the bed was idyllic. It was everything I wanted and more. Was sad to leave. We will be back in the summer although we had great weather and enjoyed walking the coast at lulworth and Bridport/west bay with lunch at the hive. Thanks Judy for a perfect stay.
An outdoor hot tub is nestled under a wooden shelter, surrounded by a fenced area and garden. Soft towels are placed on the edge of the tub. A well-maintained lawn and colorful flower beds can be seen in the distance, along with charming cottages.

This is a VERY special place to stay! The amazing barn has everything you need to be comfortable, cosy and warm. The surroundings are stunning with little or no noise other than the birds and other countryside sounds. Peace, solitude and relaxation! If you do want to do other things within 20 minutes you can be eating fish and chips in West Bay or shopping in Bridport!

The Old Forge

SueRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful week at The Old Forge. It’s just as seen in the photos if not better, particularly when taking in the beautiful surrounding countryside of the little hamlet it’s nestled in. Has all the facilities you need..in fact more than in the description as there was a hairdryer and TV, …not that I watched it. It was far more relaxing sitting on the private patio watching the birds. So many varieties, including a nuthatch and a woodpecker. Judy, the host, was welcoming and generous. Along with fresh eggs, milk and Dorset biscuits, Judy brought over flowers and baked a delicious lemon drizzle cake. I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely visit again. Highly recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay. We stayed for two nights with our two kids, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The space was comfortable, super clean, and had absolutely everything we needed to feel right at home. The kids had a great time, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect little getaway. A special thank you to our host Donna. She was fantastic to communicate with from start to finish. She made us feel so welcome and even greeted us with a welcome gift, which was just perfect and truly appreciated. We loved the strawberry Dorset tea! Her warm hospitality really made our stay extra special. Thank you once again for such a lovely experience! We’d definitely love to come back for a longer stay 😊
