Recently renovated with love, this 17th Century house has modern features in a traditional build. With gorgeous walls made of stone, the attention to detail creates a wonderful environment, whether it be cosiness or relaxation you wish for, or even a little dinner party! Lower Godney is a charming community in the Somerset levels. Fields and farm animals a plenty, we are also lucky enough to be surrounded by nature & bird reserves. It goes without saying the walking and biking is heavenly!

We are pleased to offer our refurbished conversion which in its previous life was an open barn, pig sty and engine house. It has been updated to provide a comfortable setting suitable for a relaxing getaway. ‘Ley Rustique’ is a bit like a shepherd’s hut but without the wheels. We’ve tried to squeeze all the essentials into this tiny house to make it as self contained as possible. NB The bathroom has a simple compost toilet Situated in a charming nook nestling beneath Chalice Hill in a private close just off Chilkwell Street, 2 minutes from the Chalice Well and the bottom of Glastonbury Tor. There are several restaurants and cafes in the High St which is an easy 8 minute stroll.
