Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Louisville

We had a great stay at the Shantyboathouse! The place is amazing and just how it was described. Colin provided all the instructions we needed to access the place and also offered plenty of recommendations! There was even a basket filled with a bottle of wine and lots of snacks, which was such a cool addition. Every place we went to was within walking distance, which made it super simple to get everywhere, especially after partaking in some bourbon! We highly recommend Colin's place to anyone visiting Louisville. You won't regret it!

Cute house, looked just like photos. Felt right at home. comfortable beds & great backyard. Loved sitting by the fire pit at night watching the fireflies. Parking behind the gate was fantastic. Highly recommend this lovely home. We would totally stay here again. Roberto's food recommendations were spot on.

Second time i stayed at the property; will definitely consider on another visit.

Everything was as advertised. Instructions were clear and complete. Host was responsive with questions. Neat place to stay for a few days. Garage can be tricky to get into with the tight alleyway if you have a larger vehicle as the host will tell you.

The place was great! Beds were comfy. Kitchen stocked well. Would definite stay there again!

Great location walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping! Close to downtown and major thoroughfares. Great place to stay for our Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip!

It is the best place to stay and I hope I always get to stay there when I go to Shepherdsville but it’s not always available. It is top-notch I would say.Thanks Kerry.

My friend and I stayed for a livestock event. It was a great stay. Really enjoyed using the patio and the coffee he left was delicious. Even though I had to park on the side street, I felt safe leaving my truck there. Neighbors were friendly and there was always space for me to park.

In town to attend a university graduation - Matthew's home fit our needs perfectly. The home is beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Really enjoyed my stay here, a lot of good spots nearby, though it's important to note that a lot of coffee spots don't open until 9 am I believe. Other than that, it was very cozy, really well decorated and furnished, and the perfect spot for a weekend trip. Parking in the spot provided was seamless too. Would recommend this spot or come back for another stay for sure!

We loved Jessica's place for our four night stay in Louisville. The studio is bright, spacious and beautifully decorated. Well provisioned with everything you need for your stay, and within easy walking distance of NuLu. Highly recommend Locals Pizza & Grocery Store which is right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Jaclyn’s place was the perfect, dreamiest stay in a very walkable area! The decor originally drew us in (I mean how could it not — it’s absolutely gorgeous) but the amenities, convenience and Jaclyn’s prompt communication were the cherries on top. Would highly recommend her place if you’re looking for the coziest home away from home. Her guidebook with recommendations was amazing. We tried many of her suggestions and she was spot on with all of them!

The apartment at Gregory's place was well appointed with all needed for convenience and comfort. It is in a lovely, established neighborhood, yet not too far from restaurants and easy access from I-64. I would highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect. The space was exactly as described and pictured and the location was ideal for being around the action of the neighborhood, but privately tucked away. Michael was an amazing host who I was lucky enough to meet. You can tell he cares about the comfort of his guests and goes the extra mile to cater to their needs. I couldn’t recommend this rental more and hope to come back.

Wow!! Amazing experience in Louisville!! Loved the property…so unique and beautiful! Prime location so we could walk down Market Street and to Main Street. James is super responsive and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Louisville!

Nice safe place for the value. Wasn’t a fan of the parking with a large SUV and current remodeling but it was safe and clean. The living area was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were clean.

Staying at this Airbnb was absolutely worth the price. The place was clean and conveniently located near plenty of great restaurants and bars. The host was very responsive, keeping us updated and giving helpful heads-ups about the unit. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Such a cool studio loft! Very modern with great city views! Everything was spotless and extremely comfortable. Walkable to whiskey row and several parking options nearby. Really appreciated the little touches and amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay in this NuLu condo! It was our first time in Louisville, and our main plan was to see a Bats game at Slugger Field. John's condo was so close to the field, and we were also able to walk to so many awesome restaurants and stores. The condo was beautiful and clean. We loved the outdoor patio! John was a great host, and we plan to be back!
