The log house has fresh air, you get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. Villa Ranta-Holstila

This high-quality accommodation offers a great opportunity to relax. In the midst of nature, on the shore of the lake, it is nice to relax and enjoy, barbecue, swim and even row. In connection with the house, about 40 meters away in the same yard, there is an atmospheric log cabin. There is a separate notice for this and the cottage may have tenants at the same time. Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

We don't have ice bears on the streets, not at all. What we have is a fresh, green and humid nature. The temperature approx. +20 and a bit cooler nights. Swimming, forest walkings, rowing boat and our especially friendly way to take care of our foreign guests. This is Finland, only 4 hours flight from your home.

This unique villa fits perfectly to families or several couples. The house is from 1960ies, and represents Alvar Aalto style. There is a separate sauna building with wood burning stove - after the sauna you can chill on 70 sqm terrace and grill yourself a nice dinner listening to the birds singing! The surroundings of the house are very appreciated and calm - however, the bus stops are located only a few hundred meters away! It takes ca 30 minutes to travel to Helsinki City center.

Cottage by the lake

Fully equipped beautiful villa just about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The windows and terrace face a quiet lake with no motorboats. You can admire the sunsets while sitting on the couch. Quiet area, you can hardly see other cottages when sitting on the terrace. Drinking water comes from our own borehole, which adds to the comfort. There is a heated hot tub on the beach (extra charge).
