Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lone Hill

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Agnes and Francois' place. The house is modern and decorated tastefully with a touch of old, it has everything that is needed for an overnight or a longer stay. We will definitely be back.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

A truly wonderful place to spend a few days (or longer) in the heart of Sandton. I will certainly be back.

The cottage is tucked away in a tranquil garden setting, with minimal noise intrusion for a city b&b. Thoughtfully appointed with a range of touches that made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.

Staying here was definitely value for money. A great spot, private, quiet and Raymond was responsive and friendly. Appreciated the short stay and would recommend staying here if wanting to be close to Montecasino and neighbouring attractions. Thank you for the gift as well :)

Had a wonderful stay at Miralda’s place. Everything is so well equipped and a lovely spacious space offering a great work area and close proximity to shopping malls and the airport. Very safe and secure and will definitely return.

The host was welcoming and responsive, which made check-in and communication super smooth. I really appreciated the quiet surroundings and the convenient location. beautifully designed home with everything i needed :) stayed here a ~month and remotely worked with strong internet and tranquil work space. loved waking up in the mornings and opening doors to hear monkeys and birds. outdoor patio space was perfect to relax and couldnt hear traffic or anything. the house had everything needed to cook, laundry, relax, etc. corne was super accommodating and helpful. checking in to make sure i had anything i needed. bridgette was also helpful with anything needed on site. highly recommend!

What was supposed to be a two-day booking became four weeks! Sam and Clive's place was well-appointed, spacious and decorated in such a way (books included!) that it felt like returning home, rather than going to an Airbnb. It is private, with its own entrance and dedicated parking situated in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood - walking distance to a shopping centre with restaurants and a short driving distance to major malls and amenities. Before accepting my booking, they surprised me by listing challenges (such as a power failure, their unavailability for the weekend) and then checking with me if I still wanted to book despite the challenges. They both met me in the pouring rain to let me in and show me around the cottage. Over the course of my stay they respected my privacy whilst checking in on me every so often to ensure I was ok and had everything I needed - and even made me a meal when I was ill! I would highly recommend the cottage for anyone needing a home away from home!

I had the chance of staying at the unit. It was just as seen on the profile. The place was amazing and I would highly recommend. Same goes for the hosts, had a pleasant time interacting with them.

This home is unbelievably beautiful. Nicky and Andrew are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Every detail in this home was thought out and it shows. The location is so convenient, 5 minutes from a Rosebank Mall and from Hyde Park Corner. Motherland Coffee is walking distance as well. Overall just a really lovely experience staying at The Treehouse. 10/10 would recommend.

Tina is a great, very warm and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay at her place, it was quiet and peaceful. She gave us good guide for the area from close shopping malls, transport guide and the hidden gems for a perfect family outing ……

Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

Exceptional in every possible way . We are a family of 8 from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and stayed at Mini's for 7 nights & words here can not possibly do justice to how wonderful our stay was from start to finish . Mini went out of her way and more to make us feel welcome , always on hand with a smile and advice if needed . Beautiful tranquility of the gardens and max the Labrador made us feel like family . Very comfortable beds, bathroom and balcony are excellent. Location is incredible and peaceful. Roark had an excellent restaurant recommendation and was of great help. He went beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Roark and Presidents palace for a wonderful stay.
