Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Birchwood Lodge is a log cabin just above the banks of Loch Tay and in the shadow of the Ben Lawers range of Munros, in Highland Perthshire. It features an open plan design with under floor heating. There's a comfortable double bed, shower room, private hot tub & sauna, gas BBQ, free wifi, DVD player, Sky TV with movies and sports & SONOS music system. We have a private beach with gazebo across the road (shared only when we are at our holiday house), and a Canadian Canoe available for guests.

Wonderful period home in Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands, in a stunningly special romantic location on Loch Earn. Great for a 1-2 week holiday, or for a short break. Walking, watersports, etc - or just relaxing! Excellent location for exploring - day trips in all directions. Easy to reach - Edinburgh or Glasgow 75 minute drive. Lovely year round – in summer, south facing sun and dining on the decking; in winter, walks and warming by the log fire. Wonderful views always!
