Cabin vacation rentals in Loch Ness

The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

Perfect sanctuary. It was everything we needed to escape life for a few days. Everything was pristine. The views were amazing. The neighbouring sheep had lots of entertaining chat and it was enclosed for our dog. We will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely beautiful lodge with an amazing view of Loch Ness. Easy walk to The Falls of Foyers and down to the shores of the loch. The hot tub was amazing, the lodge was very clean and the instructions for access were helpful and accurate. We hired a car which I would recommend and we visited Fort Augustus, Inverness and Chanonry Point (got to see dolphins!). All of these were easily driveable from the lodge. One of the nicest places I've stayed and we will definitely recommend to friends!

Absolutely phenomenal find in the middle of nowhere. Stunning house, very clean, cute wee tea and coffee left for our first morning. The hot tub was warm, clean and in a fantastic location. What a great weekend we had. Thank you Nina 🩷

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Jane the stay was faultless 💗

We had a lovely stay at Riverside Cottage, beautiful location. Perfect cosy base to come back to after a day exploring Glen Affric and the wider area. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the bustle of city life for a few days.

Very nice cabin. Very peaceful and calm surroundings. Sensational views of lochness. Only 20 mins from the centre of Inverness so plenty things to do locally. Nice, clean, welcoming host. Excellent money for value.

was only using as an overnight stop so didn't have opportunity to spend much time there but was cosy and a lovely setting

This is a beautiful part of Scotland,all the walks that are local are beautiful. It’s a great base to have because there are lots of places within 30-45 minutes. The village is beautiful and we will be returning. Watch the shinty when you are there …

We just stayed one night when on our way to Skye. The cabin was comfortable and we had a very peaceful stay. Everything we needed was available including a very welcome chocolate bar to accompany our cup of tea on arrival. We travelled with our dog and there was an extremely handy dog walking area on the hill behind the cabin. We met a number of locals walking their dogs which was nice.

Really lovely and peaceful spot, log burner inside was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the shower working so braved a cold shower with a view but was a beautiful location and perfect stop for us doing the NC500! Thanks for having us and being so responsive/ helpful 😊

Another lovely’s nights stay in Jessica’s cosy cabin. Just perfect for a stopover on the way back from our holiday in Lewis. Cosy, clean, comfortable and well equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Nicely decorated and lovely welcome gifts. We took a salad with us for dinner and some bread and jam for toast in the morning which worked out just fine. There was also little single hob but we didn’t need to use it. The cabin is in a large garden just beside Jessica’s house but feels private and was perfect for us and our two little dogs as I could let them have a wander around the garden ground which was really handy. There’s also a nice little seating area at the front of the cabin with nice planting and lighting. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jessica!

A lovely cabin in the countryside. We really enjoyed being by the burn and watching the birds. Wonderful terrace to sit in the sunshine too.

This airbnb is a real hidden gem. It’s incredibly cosy with an amazing view looking across Inverness & everything you could need for a short stay (including one of the best mattresses ive slept on)! There was a detailed guide left in the cabin which included so many recommendations for activities, places to eat or shop - this was much appreciated when heading into Inverness. We had our dog with us during our stay & there was a great forest walk opposite if not wanting to travel too far (Craig Phadrig). The hosts were very attentive - unfortunately I did not meet Kaya, but bumped into Ali on a few occasions and had a chat, who was a nice, easy going guy and also gave some more local recommendations. Cannot recommend enough, was a great start to our NC500 trip to celebrate a special milestone birthday!

The Cabin in Highland Council is a nice private hut with cute decor that is close to places to go in Inverness. We loved the layout of the cabin and appreciated the basket of fruit provided by Lucilia Maria Ann. I would definitely stay here again on a future vacation to Inverness. We loved it!

Absolutely nothing to report. Very welcoming and available host. Completely independent accommodation sufficiently well-equipped. Quiet place with views of Ben Nevis. Easy parking.

There are few words i could say for both Pree and Kiritara Lodge. Beautifully set, with everything inside we could ever need and the most helpful, thoughtful host imaginable. We will 100% be back to stay and not on a working holiday next time. Thank you both hugely for the most fantastic little air bnb

A lovely comfortable and welcoming place to stay, especially for day trips to near by sites and points of interest . The most peaceful and AMAZING views out the lovely wine does!!!! Cozy large couch for relaxing in the evenings , outside sitting area, black out curtains , towel warmer in the bathroom, and Directions were great! It was very close to Inverness City Center, & so so many points of interest 20-30 minutes away. LOVED IT.

Jack confirmed at short notice that his accommodation was available when our party requested a last minute stay to extend our holiday. Communication was clear and quick to all subsequent enquiries. The property was clean and spacious for our party of 4 and was as shown in the photographs. An ideal base and location for anyone planning on walking the area in and around Loch Ness.
