This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Cath and Phil really couldn't be more amazing hosts! Thankyou so so much for letting us use your amazing home for my mums hen party!! The house was immaculate, super spacious, set up for a full party and was just honestly incredible. More than I ever imagined!! We made great use of the huge kitchen, dining room, pool room, garden area, living room and much more. I couldn't recommend this house enough for a hen do! Had a long weekend here for my partners birthday. The home was amazing and Angela and the team put lovely finishing touches to the house for us and such a short walk into the middle of Holmfirth, we definitely plan on coming back again and would definitely recommend there is so much to do within such a short radius Thank you again

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

2nd time we’ve been here as a group of ageing Dad’s getting away for a weekend together - and for the 2nd time it’s been exactly what we’ve wanted - we will be back again for certain

We stayed for 2 nights at Delanie's property to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The house and it's facilities are amazing. The pool Hot Tub and bar area really make this an amazing place to celebrate birthday's and the like. Warm welcome and a great hamper upon check in and always on hand for any issues. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a luxury break away. Will be looking to return in the future.

What a beautiful home! Very high spec and felt homely, fantastic space which was light and airy. Fabulous touches to the place and loved the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with height towards the upper floor. Bedrooms were spacious and decorated so tastefully. The outside area was amazing!! So much space on different levels and an awesome firepit area. The accommodation and outside areas matched the photos shown on the site. Super easy to get into Sowerby Bridge and beyond and see the rolling hills all around. I appreciated the information sent before our visit and Joseph was very responsive to all comms. Just book it!! You wont be disappointed…just delighted x

We were having a party in Todmorden to celebrate a milestone birthday and needed somewhere we could accommodate the overflow from our house. Worked well and Alison was extremely helpful and a very good communicator.

We arrived at Holmfirth afew hours early and had a look around. it’s a beautiful little village with lots of walks at the heart of it. I reached out to Ben to see if we could check in early, not a problem he said with his very prompt response. When we entered the house we were pleasantly surprised on how cute the house was with all amenities you need, especially the kitchen which we used several times. The bed is luxurious in a beautiful room. There is a stream across from the bedroom window, when you go to sleep you can hear it clearly which I personally loved, it actually helped me sleep too. Lots of surrounding walks and lovely restaurants to visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Ben, the owner. He offered everything we needed for our perfect little stay. Thanks again. We’ll be back.

Kelly was fantastic from the moment we booked to after we left, ensuring we knew exactly how to find the property. When we told her we would be arriving very late she also kindly popped in to turn the lights on for us!

I booked Michelle’s place for my uncle and auntie, and they absolutely loved it. From the very start, Michelle was so kind and thoughtful in her messages. She even left a few essentials and a lovely bottle of wine to welcome them—it truly made them feel at home. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything they could possibly need. It’s so reassuring to know there’s such a warm, well-equipped place to stay in Marsden. I’ll definitely be booking again the next time I have family visiting. Thank you, Michelle!

We stayed six weeks, late April through early June. The house was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the home and rural but close to everything location. We decided to use bus and train passes with the occasional taxi and saw so much more than renting a car as we have in the past. We walked up the hill everyday to the house from the main road and at 70 years old we had no problems, it was good exercise before bed each evening. Susan and her husband Mark were perfect hosts, we saw them often and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our best recommendation for this home is "We will stay again." At different times we walked all the local canals from Todmorden to Brighouse in sections, visited dozens of local villages and took the train to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, the airport and even down to London and Kent. Our bus passes also allowed us to roam all over Yorkshire.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

We had two of our sons, their wives and grandkids all staying in the rental with us. We all had comfortable beds and we especially enjoyed how spacious the house was. They left us cookies and other snacks and we also enjoyed having extra supplies like flour, sugar and condiments readily available for us to use. It is an incredibly beautiful location and we loved seeing how they kept some of the sewing mill theme when they finished the home. Everything was clean and well laid out. We’d all love to come back.

Holly’s home provides a great base from where to branch out on day trips either by foot or by car. Her home is spotlessly clean and contains all the amenities you need to enjoy your break. Holly was friendly to deal with and she answered any messages promptly. I would definitely stay at this home again. Thank you, Holly.

Great place to stay for a couple of weeks for work, very homely and had all I needed. I particularly loved the luxurious big bath and the patio garden is very nice too.
