Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Little Italy, San Diego

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

My family and I were very excited because we were traveling to SD to meet my biological father for the first time since finding him almost 3 years ago. We chose Shawn's BnB because we instantly fell in love with the shaded and secluded backyard. We enjoyed our stay and it served as a great place to chill out, relax, and get to know my dad while playing a few card/board games. The cheery on top was the fabulous weekend weather, which was 40+ degrees cooler than our home in Phoenix, AZ.

We were reluctant to write a review because we kind of didn't want anyone but us to know how fabulous this place is! :) It's absolutely dreamy and everything the pictures and descriptions promise. Great location, lovely, quiet neighborhood, the apartment is thoughtfully laid out and beautifully decorated, relaxing vibe... even a private patio! What else can we say? It. Is. Perfect! This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Kim's place was perfect - just what we needed. We needed a dog-friendly, quiet place where I could work and easily access the freeway (my sister was having a baby, so needed to be able to move around quickly). Kim, was incredibly flexible with check-in and very responsive. Her place is pretty, clean, just as described with all the amenities you might need. It's a short walk/drive to food, coffee, groceries, and friendly people. Kim went above and beyond when in the chaos of leaving for work, I left my toiletries behind (including my retainers and some jewelry). Kim was next level - she went to the AirBnB to personally check for my things and then circled back a few times with her cleaning crew to reunite me with my much needed dental tools. Oh, and did I mention how incredibly comfortable the bed is - it was like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend her place.

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

Beautiful Home! My kids loved the Backyard along with all the games. My Man loved the Condiments & Kitchen He said You guys had the right equipments I loved the jacuzzi.

Great place, love the two units! Perfect for two families. Be aware that it is right by the airport, so you will hear the airplanes.

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

Jeff and Amador have really done a fabulous job make this apartment warm and beautiful. And they were so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The building, and location were first class. The view of the church out the living room window was a plus!

We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

I came with my daughter for a event at a hotel that was close by, just north of I8. It took me a couple of turns and a trip around the block to locate it as I am not use to driving in a city but my aGPS was correct but it just took me a pass or two to recognize the place and the turn in for the parking. The place was beautiful and perfect, clean. It felt very homey and I felt safe in the neighborhood. We walked around the corner to the Divo Diva Cafe. We went there every morning for our coffee, avacado toast and crossiant. Very lovely and great decor. We also walked to Nola's and had food delivered. Everything was very close. We walked to HiroNori Craft Ramen (best broth I have every had). I really appreciated that we had a dedicated parking spot. That was mandatory for my stay. I don't want to drive around the city looking for parking. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend and I would stay here again.

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

I really loved staying here. I would definitely stay here again. close to the beach and food place nearby. The only thing I wish they would change is the couches. They are not very comfortable for relaxing in after a long day. I loved the patio area I opened the door any enjoyed the weather. The only AC unit is in the living room but they do have fans in both rooms.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped AirBnb. The AirBnb is thoughtfully designed with lots of lux features. It is conveniently located close to activities around the area and had everything we needed to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The family enjoyed the pool, sauna, gym, and spacious kitchen and living areas — something for everyone! It was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer and we noticed there were high chairs, a pack and play, and a stroller for those with younger kids. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

This home was perfect for our vacation! very kid/family friendly- he has cribs, baby gates, utensils and plates for kids, lots of books. View was amazing, and is about 15 from everything!
