Rural Retreat with hot tub and bar area

AbigailRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay! The property was beautiful, and we especially loved spending time with all the animals—Felix the cat was a highlight! He’s super friendly and loves cuddles. The hot tub and bar area were perfect for relaxing, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Gary was so lovely and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

A home from home in historic Eydon

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at the cottage while visiting our new grandson in nearby Woodford Halse. Communications from Victoria were excellent, as were directions. Upon our arrival Victoria came out to greet us and (vitally important) to ask us what we wanted for breakfast! The cottage turned out to be an absolute delight, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Our last Airbnb experience in May 2024 was dreadful and it was a relief to have our faith restored. Although the cottage was small, it was perfect for our needs. The bedroom upstairs was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was nicely appointed and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Although the cottage doesn't have a kitchen as such, Victoria provided a microwave and toaster, plus bread, cereals, tea, milk, coffee etc. Nothing had been overlooked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend both the cottage and our host Victoria unreservedly! Thank you very much Victoria! Andrew & Jayne.

The Art Barn

DorisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Emma and Leckie’s art barn was definitely a special find. The artistic and imaginative interior is impressive. We loved the many quirky ideas that created this homely place, be it a colourful blanket or creatively painted furniture and walls and the old tin sink…. Being open plan it is light and spacious. The barn was well equipped with kindly supplied bread, serial, coffee, tea etc. The bedding was beautiful too and very warm, the shower perfect and even a choice of soap and shower stuff…nothing was missing. Emma and Leckie were both friendly and extremely accommodating ( our friends were visiting for a game of cards one evening and that was no problem ). Thank you for everything!

Rural annexe in Kislingbury

Lovely spotlessly clean accommodation, exactly as described, was perfect for our one night stay in the area. Sonya provided very clear directions and instructions for arrival. The small kitchen area was useful. We visited The red Lion for a few drinks, friendly service, and Sunday we visited The Sun Inn for a roast which was very nice, reasonably priced and friendly service.

Gerty’s Getaway

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We arrived late following Tracy’s wonderful instructions on how to find them- nothing was too much trouble! Gerty’s getaway was just as pictured, in a lovely quaint village with a good pub! Really could not have asked for a more lovely place to stay, VERY comfortable bed, modern clean kitchen and bathroom. We came for a wedding so bit of a flying visit but we would definitely return if in the area. Tracy as a host was great, really helpful instructions for finding the place and was happy for us to check in late. I even forgot my hairdryer and she let me borrow one- home from home! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great barn, close to Silverstone. Sleeps 2-4.

HeatherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Barn was a perfect base for Silverstone with everything we needed, and more, for a comfortable weekend break. Louise was very thoughtful and welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and return again ourselves to explore more of the area. Thank you!

Cosy country cottage

VikiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Gyles’s cottage is an absolute gem. It is beautifully decorated, has great amenities and in a gorgeous setting. They left a really handy booklet about things in the local area and even marked routes on the local OS map. We would highly recommend staying here and will be booking again for a visit next year.
