Vacation rentals with lake access in Lilla Edet Municipality

The house was as described. We had a good time with 4 kids discovering the house, animals and lake near by. We were even able to rent the boat from Erik. The house offered enough space for us to hang out and even some toys for the kids.

We had a great weekend in this cute little cottage – perfect for a family! Here is what you need for a comfortable stay, including internet/wifi that works well for watching TV. However, it is not really enough for several devices at the same time, but it did not matter so much – around the corner there is a nice forest path to explore and the opportunity to borrow one of Ida's bicycles. The outdoor grill was also a big plus! The location is private and peaceful, yet only 5-10 minutes by car to the store. We would be glad to come back!

The house has an incredibly great view, which we enjoyed in all weathers. Bram supported us with information and answered our questions quickly. The defective sunshade was also replaced within a day.

We had the most amazing stay at Lennarts cabin, and they made us feel very welcome and at home from the beginning! We loved spending time in the nature, swimming in the lake, relaxing in the sauna, fishing etc. etc. Very recommendable!

We had an amazing stay at Imre & Olga’s lake house! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by their warmth and hospitality. The location is absolutely serene, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature with the lake just steps away. No neighbors, no noise—just pure relaxation. The house itself is beautifully designed with a cozy, thoughtful touch in every detail. You can feel the care and love they’ve put into it. Whether enjoying a quiet morning by the water or a relaxing evening inside, everything about the space invites calm and comfort. This is a true hidden gem and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we already hope to return! We spent 5 days in Kenneth and Malene’s house, we were 2 families with 2 kids 2yo. They live on the upper floor and were very welcoming and helpful in giving us several information. Check in, check out and comminication were great, Fast and easy. We had a bit of bad luck with weather, but we were able to enjoy the barbecue and jacuzzi, which are definetly a plus. The house is very well organized with all the necessary kitchen tools and room enough for all us, especially the living room where our kids played most of the time. Malene was so kind to give our kids lots and lots of toys they played with. would have been Perfect to have a second bathroom as we struggled a bit with the kids, but we were aware of that. The location is good, the sea is just in front of the house and we also had the possibilities to use their kayak, but we did not cause of weather. It is a good starting point to visit all the west coast. In the end we had a very nice and relaxing stay. Thanks a lot and see you

Fantastic stay, I ended up not being well for one of the days so spent more time in the Airbnb than planned. It was so well equipped, spacious and had a lovely vibe that it ended up being a wonderful stay even though I wasn’t 100% well. One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Felt very fresh and nice despite smaller areas. Nice to be able to use outdoor seating furniture. The bathroom was even nicer than the pictures, fancy. Highly recommend Tom's accommodation and hospitality.

I am probably a little biased, as I had been in the area many times throughout my life, and I've always loved this old town part of Kungälv. The buildings are made up of lots of historic landmarks. There is a beautiful old church nearby with stunning interior craftsmanship and design. The river walk, with lots of pretty water fowl and gardens is bare a minute from the location. And a couple minutes walk beyond all of these is an ancient fortress, first built in 1308, looking out over the river that runs all the way up to Stockholm from the west coast. The property has all the amenities one could need, and while its close to everything, its very private and peaceful. The owners are super proactive and respond quickly to any questions. I could go on, but I think its enough to say this is as advertised, and a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend 👌

We spent 10 days at this lakeside property, and it met our expectations. The house was as described, offering a peaceful setting with a pleasant view of the lake. The heating was on upon our arrival, providing a warm welcome. For fishing enthusiasts, the location is quite convenient. The lake nearby offers fishing opportunities, and a short drive takes you to another lake known for its rainbow salmon. Additionally, Gothenburg is approximately a 35-minute drive away, making it easy to explore the city. During our stay, we experienced several rainy days, which gave us the chance to use the indoor BBQ—a nice feature that added to our comfort. Overall, this property offers a quiet and convenient base for those looking to enjoy nature and fishing, with easy access to nearby attractions.

Very nice little accommodation in an incredibly nice environment! Great host couple who were quick to respond and were nice and very accommodating! Nothing to complain about at all that lowers the rating but some things to know! The mattresses in the bed (if you pull it out and sleep two there) are quite thin so the spoons feel through some - probably ok for some, pretty much onas if you are sensitive to things like that (or pregnant like me😅) The cottage is small. There is no problem overall except that it is not possible to sit at the table if the bed is pulled out - so either you can make it up or be ok with sitting and eating in the bed ☺️ The door to the toilet is very slow and we never dared to fully close. Not a problem for us as comfortably married couple, but again maybe something that some people felt uncomfortable with! The cottage is located in the family garden. Nothing that we had any concern with at all as the family was never out while we were there, but no really private location. But overall a great place to stay!

Amazing what was housed in such a small cottage. We were in transit, and what we needed for our stay was available. There was nothing missing. We were able to end the day with a short stroll by the nearby water. Great that you didn't hear anything from the proximity of the highway. Thank you, Paula

We had a great stay at Steen and Karen-Helle's place! The house is secluded behind a hill so you are completely free of roads and neighbors. From the large patio you have a great view of the lake. Rustic feeling but with all the modernities you need (fast internet, sound system, smart TV, etc). Plenty of sleeping places. Big plus for the spacious and well-equipped kitchen + 3 barbecues that we could cook hearty dinners in! We thought maybe 1€/wood for the stove/sauna was a bit expensive, but it wasn't that much for us anyway so it didn't matter too much.

We stayed at Jessica’s place for three nights. The house is beautifully decorated, and the location is perfect if you’re looking for a place to unwind from daily routines. The veranda and garden are ideal for enjoying good weather and long summer evenings. Last but not least, the house was spotless! Definitely recommended!
