Through an exclusively pedestrian street you can reach the Calanchiole beach 400 meters away (fine sandy beach suitable for children, both free and partially equipped). 700 meters away is the famous Lido di Capoliveri beach. In addition to the sea, the island is highly sought after by hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts. In the past, La Guardiola was placed to defend the entrance to Porto Azzurro from the sea. It had two key features: an extensive and dominant view and immediate access to the sea. The Tower above the sea

La Torre is one of two ancient watchtowers in the beautiful town of Marciana Marina. The tower was already on maps of the 16th century as Torre di Poggio and in the 18th century as a customs office for the merchandise from the sea. In 2023, the tower was rebuilt by an interior designer. The result is a synergy of ancient remains and modern comforts. The unique location directly above the water makes every stay an experience.
