I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

Perfect place to stay for a Bordeaux stay. We - 3 married couples - felt very comfortable with Julie. The house with balcony in a secluded courtyard situation is located in the atmospheric district of Chartrons - the stroll starts right from the front door. The Garonne - and the nearest tram station - are just a few steps away.

The house was perfect for us. Really spacious and homely. My kids loved it. It was perfectly positioned in between Bordeaux centre and the airport. Only criticism is there was no kettle, chopping knife, or normal bowls. But otherwise we had everything we needed. That's was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

we stopped at Mathieu and Madeleine's during our trip to the Var. Access to the accommodation, not far from the highway, is easy. We were warmly greeted by Madeleine (much nicer than the lockboxes!). A platter of cold cuts/cheese was waiting for us, which is very nice. The accommodation is simple but very well maintained. Located in the countryside, the silence is deafening and guarantees a peaceful night! we will keep the address for a future stop!

Lovely, homely house in incredible location surrounded by vineyards and superb views. Pleasant 5 minute walk into St Emilion so we didn’t use the car all the time we were there. St Emilion is beautiful, with some excellent restaurants, interesting architecture and very nice people. Sophie was really nice and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time - we really appreciated her letting us access the property early. We would definitely visit again.

We had a great stay at Domaine Branda. It was a perfect place to start our holidays for our family of 5 (3 boys), relaxing by the pool, playing tennis and walking in the surrounding area. The location was very private and peaceful, but the town was only a few minutes by car and the great city of Bordeaux only 30 minutes away. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and all the amenities worked well.

Beautiful villa with swimming pool heated to 28° with seawater. Which we enjoyed. With all the amenities you need. Our hosts were very friendly and available. I recommend this rental with a perfect location to travel around the Arcachon basin. Thank you so much to Ornella and Stéphane DENISE

Beautiful home and grounds! Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Communication with Caroline was excellent! Always with a quick response to questions and even worked out a birthday cake and wine for our traveling friend. Nice outside seating area to enjoy by the pool. Would highly recommend!

Staying at Laura's place is like staying at your friend's home. She has everything set up for you. She is a great communicator before, during and after the trip. We had rainy weather so weren't able to enjoy the pool and patio, but I'm sure it would be lovely in the hotter months. It is truly the quietest place we've ever stayed and we enjoyed the park every day! Thank you, Laura, for opening up your home to us.

My husband & I loved staying at Samuel’s beautiful Gite, part of his Chateau. Beautifully designed, spotless and quiet. We truly relaxed and the bed is super comfortable. Very responsive and spoke perfect English and French. A great trip we will do again.

We loved the atmosphere of the house and the neighborhood, which is wonderful for walking. It's also nice and quiet, making it suitable for both enjoying the indoors and working remotely. This stay was everything an Airbnb should be and more! Her place was welcoming and so incredibly homey. The design of the apartment is also incredible, with such an attention to detail! The location is also perfect - a quick 20 minute walk to the center of the historic district but tucked away enough to get a full nights rest without any interruptions. Helen was also incredibly responsive and had such fabulous recommendations. Next time we find ourselves in Bordeaux, we know exactly where we’ll be staying!
