The sleeping arrangements include a double bed (160 × 200 cm) and a sofa bed (140 × 200 cm), best suited for two children or one adult. The stylish minimalist design makes it an inviting space for both short and longer city stays. Room sizes vary between 16–36 m².

At the centre of the neighbourhood’s social life there was always the Saint Rita church. Now that it is home to Bunk Amsterdam, this still holds true. Locals and travellers alike come to catch some rays on our terrace, sticking around for an affordable dinner and some free cultural nourishment.

There is great history behind the hotel. The Vergulden Eenhoorn was established in 1702 as a city farm and used to be one of very few farmhouses the city of Amsterdam has. Together with the city of Amsterdam the farmhouse was fully renovated to modern standards, while maintaining the historic value and its features.
