Pitcher's Off Grid Barn with Log Burner & Hot Tub

EddyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my girlfriend had such an amazing time at this place. We’ve had something similar in the past but this one takes the cake. Very private and has an amazing view. Close to the road so sometimes you’ll hear people walking past and cars. But at night you can sit in the hot tub and enjoy looking at the stars. In our case we saw a shooting star while sat in the hot tub. I would 100% suggest this to friends and come again.!!!! Thank you

Charming 5 Bedroom | Hot Tub | Sauna | Hobbits!

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wow! Our group of 9 ladies have had the most amazing weekend at this lovely property. We loved the warm welcome from the hosts & very much appreciated the goodies left out for us & helpful instructions. We were lucky to have beautiful sunshine, enabling us to make the most of the wonderful garden. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and making s’mores in the hobbit hut, as well as yoga on the lawn & watercolour painting under the apple tree - a truly blissful girls’ weekend! The bunnies & Welly the pig were gorgeous! The house was clean & there was plenty of room for the 9 of us, we barely used the lounge and dining room! We also hired the games barn & it was like having our own little pub & a great evening’s entertainment. We would have loved to have stayed longer & tried out the pizza oven. We enjoyed a long walk including the spooky railway tunnel & a great meal over the road at the pub. We couldn’t have asked for more and would love to return! Thank you Hannah & Noel :)

Quiet Lane Retreat: The Bee Cottage Rutland

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

I had a lovely stay at the cottage with my 2 dogs. Rebecca and John were helpful and responsive, the home was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. Parking isn't ideal but is manageable, though no guaranteed parking in immediate walking distance to the cottage except on Sundays. Close to everything you need in the city but with some lovely open spaces too. Would definitely visit again if I need to return to Leicester.

Stoop Cottage in the heart of Quorn:

ChristyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the first part of a 2-part stay at Rachel’s lovely home in Quorn, but we are just having a wonderful time. The hope is perfect equipped and comfortable for us as a family of 4, while also being extremely conveniently located to a playground for my youngest, and a large park for my eldest. The running trails abound, the local market is right down the street, and we have had loads of fun getting to know all the locals and patronizing all the shops. It has been a wonderful stay, and a choice we would make again and again!

Great place, cleverly laid out, well appointed and nicely decorated. Great that all rooms very equal- all same size and all en-suite. Lovely hot tub. Very detailed information booklet left to tell us how everything works and reccomended restaurants. We went to the Grey Goose as reccomended, only managed to get in at lunch time but the food really was amazing- one of the best meals out I’ve ever had. Friendly host and great value stay. Interesting location of a working farm. Many thanks indeed- we plan to return x

Central Adjacent Coach Houses, sleeps 15, Parking

TinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our stay at the 2 coach houses. Our hosts communicated everything clearly in advance including some handy, off-site parking which was helpful arriving late at night. We found everything to be well stocked with coffee, useful kitchen utensils & appliances, cleaning products, dish washer tabs and all the things you'd expect and want including a nice big dining table which we put to good use in both coach houses! :)The communal spaces were perfect for hanging out and feeling at home and we found it a perfect stay for 11 of us attending a conference nearby. It was very clean and well kept which we really appreciate. The stairs are very steep so we had to put our older guests on the ground floor :). The hosts were very responsive and proactive with things we needed, even preparing one of the sofa beds in advance. We appreciate their attention to detail and care for their guests. Thank you and we hope to stay again in the future!
