The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

The bright and well-kept 45 m² non-smoking apartment for 2 people is located on the first floor of our house. Our large, certified natural garden invites you to relax. The edge of the forest and the starting point "Wanderbares Deutschland" are just a few minutes' walk away and the adventure playground for the little ones is also just 100 m away.

Because of the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Saale Valley below the Burgkhammer dam and in the immediate vicinity of Burgk Castle. Relax in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery. Just like the train station and sights such as the castle, the Natural History Museum, everything can be reached in a few minutes. It has a separate entrance just for our guests. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
