We had a fantastic stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was a perfect base for our crew during fieldwork—quiet and well-equipped. Great communication from the host and easy check-in made everything smooth. Highly recommended!

We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This place was beautiful, and perfect for our short trip to the area. Randy, the host, made great recommendations and was so knowledgeable about where to find everything in and around Rockport. Everything was on one floor which was perfect as we were travelling with a 6 month old youngling. The back deck was a lovely feature for morning coffee and tea, plenty of seating outside. The kitchen was sparkling, lots of fridge space and everything we could have needed to prepare some delicious meals. The weather was uncooperative while we were visiting, we were SO fortunate to have such a beautiful open space to stay in. The kids loved the game console in the green bedroom, and are very excited to return. This whole place is lovely, and that is to say nothing of the host who was so quick to respond to questions and helped us find a place close by to rent a fishing boat for the day. The price is beyond reasonable for what you’re renting here - don’t miss on this one!

The space was even better than expected, and all the thoughtful touches made it feel extra special. Daniel's place was beautiful overlooking swan bay.we had a relaxing time there, loved the view n house was great,.We had all the luxuries of home.We would highly recommend this place n would definitely pick this house to come back to

This place truly felt like a home away from home—beautiful, peaceful, and even better than the photos! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—and more. The host was very kind and responsive. He let us use the firewood he had stocked, provided two BBQ grills, and had lots of board games perfect for kids. The house is fully carpeted, so using the front door with shoes can get messy. We used the back door through the garage so our shoes could stay inside. You can tell the host is very clean and takes pride in the home. There are also two canoes (we didn’t use due to weather). Thousand Islands Boat Tour is just 37 minutes away—perfect for a day trip. Would definitely stay again!

My experience staying at Wade and Shawn’s place was fantastic from check in to check out! Wade and Shawn are very kind and responsive. Very clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing suite, parking was great and the area is quiet. Felt very comfortable/safe staying here and would definitely do so again if needed!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is exactly as pictured and incredibly clean. Truly spotless and everything appears brand new. A comfortable and spacious place where we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the private, peaceful outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen (with a proper stove/oven, appliances, a full set of knives/dishes/glassware/cutlery and every utensil/pot/pan you need to cook a proper meal). Aimee has truly thought of everything you could possibly need, like extra pillows and towels, personal hygiene items, a water pitcher, and even an extra propane tank for the bbq. Staying here feels like visiting the house of a very thoughtful friend who already owns everything you need and is an expert in hospitality (and knows to fold the edge of the toilet paper roll into a point and seal it with a stamp). Great location close to Picton, yet quiet and peaceful. As a host, Aimee is super proactive and responsive. She takes hosting seriously and it shows.

We had a great stay at the loft. It really felt like a home away from home. They provide everything you might need, and even made us delicious banana bread. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. The house is right downtown and everything is within an easy walk.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

I was coming into the Adirondacks to do some backpacking. We were going to be arriving late and starting the trip early in morning, so we just needed a place to crash for the night and sort some gear in the morning while we had breakfast. This was a perfect spot and exactly what we needed, though it would have been tempting to relax there for a few days.

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the city and love being surrounded by nature, Margaret’s bicentennial home is the perfect spot. It stays true to its original charm while offering all the modern comforts—like a full kitchen and Wi-Fi. The natural light and abundance of windows were a highlight for me—it truly feels like you’re in nature, even when you’re indoors. The covered porch lets you enjoy the outdoors in any weather. Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a welcoming, homey feel—all nestled under stunning 200-year-old beams. Just incredible. Would book again!

I stayed in the bunkie for 5 weeks. I had a very wonderful and peaceful time . The hosts went over and above to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. The surrounding area is very quaint, lovely and historical. A gem for the region.

My partner, dog and I had a wonderful weekend. Jessica provided everything that was needed. The location is private and serene. Walking distance to the lake! One thing to mention, which is expected, but coming from the city, I didn't think it would be so bad, are the ticks. We took a short walk in the forest right next to the cabin and had multiple ticks on us. So always do a tick check!

Really enjoyed our stay, it is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and relax. We loved the access to the lake, SUP & kayaks, & fire pits. There were also several thoughtful touches that we appreciated in our cabin.

Absolutely Incredible Stay! Our stay at Susan's cabin was, without a doubt, our best Airbnb experience in Canada so far and ranks right up there as one of our top staycations ever! It was the perfect long weekend getaway to completely reset and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The green landscapes, calm, peaceful atmosphere was truly refreshing. Susan herself was an exceptional host. Her warm welcome immediately made us feel at home, and she went above and beyond by taking the time to tour us around and patiently answer all of our questions. The delicious, home-baked muffins and farm-fresh eggs waiting for us upon arrival were such a thoughtful and delightful touch! Thank you, Susan, for opening up this beautiful cabin on your property and sharing this wonderful experience with us. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating escape. We hope to be back again soon!
