Cottage vacation rentals in Leeds and the Thousand Islands

The Red Haus was excellent trip. Lots of nature around the place, space to play games. Plenty of privacy, and attractions around the place. The hosts were always responsive and clear with instructions. Great for a larger group size as there is enough beds around the house and common space. Property was as described.

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

Beautiful home! From the location, to the decor - it was an incredible stay! Close to the main street and lots to do in the area.

My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

Joanie’s place was wonderful for a weekend get away. Everything was clean and spacious - was even bigger than it looks in the photos. Hot tub and saunas were clean and in working order. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

This is a fabulous cabin on the lake!! We ended up having our family of 4 plus a niece stay here during a family reunion in Kingston and this was wonderful! I like getting out of town, and this feels out in the woods, yet only a 20 minute drive to Kingston. The communication with Danielle and Jorden was immediate. The instructions to get to the cabin are clear. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, the beds are very comfortable, the showers are great (but low pressure if something else, like the dishwasher, is running) The setting is in absolute paradise. The lake, the deck, the dock, the chairs, the fire pit, the hot tub... wow!Unfortunately for us, the weather was not great so we did not make good use of all the outdoor amenities. But even in the rain, it was so lovely to walk some of the nearby Cataraqui Trail. I will definitely try to make my way back to this Airbnb, hopefully in the warmer months.

Fantastic stay, what a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could possibly need to keep a whole family entertained and catered for! Absolutely loved all the canoes, boats, paddle boards and the man cave. Kitchen was brilliant with all the equipment we needed. Really beautiful and peaceful location and children well catered for too with toys, life jackets etc Couldn’t have more good things to say about Mellow Yellow Cottage!

We had a great time staying at Cassie's. The bnb was lovely and the views were awesome at sunset. Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in Ogdensberg again!

Cute cottage next to Marina in Clayton ! Adam is very responsive host. Cottage has all the needed amenities and docks you can fish from with beautiful view. We look forward to returning.

Devon's place was exactly what we wanted for a quiet and peaceful getaway. I felt at home in the cottage. When I met Devon, she seemed to genuinely enjoy hosting guests, and making sure we were comfortable in the cottage. I highly recommend staying there!

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. We loved everything about it—the cleanliness, tasteful furnishings, spacious layout, and especially the stunning backyard and lake view. The only minor drawback was the lack of drapes or blinds on the windows (other than the bedrooms). At night, it gets very dark outside, which can feel a bit unsettling for those not used to it, as the inside becomes visible while the outside remains pitch black. That said, the cottage is well-secluded by trees and plants, so it’s unlikely anyone would be close enough to see in. Damon is a fantastic host—accommodating, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway

Our Family and I had a Wonderfull Stay! Robert was such a great host, he meet with us at the house and wanted to make sure we had everything! Plenty of space for the whole family and your pets! We would definitely come back and stay!

We had a great weekend stay at the cottage! Cam and Karley were super responsive, and accommodating of us for early check in and late check out. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen basics, and super clean and cute! As described, the main house is also closeby on the property, but we were left with full peaceful privacy the entire time. There are some beautiful walking trails in the area, including the South Frontenac just a ten minute walk down the main road. We appreciated the binder of local recommendations, as well as how pet-friendly it is, with a dog bed available and even a towel and poop bags by the door. Because it’s a beautifully wooded area, on the rainy days we did need to be vigilant to pick ticks off the dog, but we appreciated that the cottage was equipped with a tick removal kit in case we needed it, and we didn’t encounter any when it was nice out. If we hadn’t had a dog with us, we wouldn’t have noticed a thing because we were never finding them on ourselves!

What a wonderful find! The cottage is in beautiful surroundings with lake views, it was very peaceful and private. Inside is very comfortable, love how everything was decorated, it has everything needed for a great vacation. Very clean throughout and comfy beds. It was great having the canoes there too! James was a great host giving very clear instructions on everything and the surrounding area. I'd love to come back! Thank you for a much needed relaxing break away from everything

The house was fantastic. We stayed there while my daughter competed in a hockey tournament in Kingston. It was an easy drive to the city. The place was clean, had games for the kids, and plenty to do outdoors. There are a few grocery/quickie stores just a few minutes away and a couple of restaurants. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of much needed space after a long car ride. We would totally book this place again for the next tournament. Thanks Simon and Winnie for a great trip!

We had a lovely stay. The view was gorgeous and Christine was very helpful.

The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

I had a great stay at this cozy lakeside Airbnb. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The view of the lake was a beautiful bonus, especially in the mornings and sunsets in the evening. The host was very proactive and responsive, making sure everything was in order and that I felt welcome. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.

Karen and Mark are great host and have an amazing property out near the lake. Great views, quite and fully relaxing. Exactly what you want from a well earned vacation. And both the host were very proactive in communication. Loving and caring people with beautiful and cozy place.

Great stay and would stay again. The entire inside has been completely remodeled and it’s right beside the Goose Bay boat ramp. Very clean.
