Lovely coastal home with hot tub, dogs welcome

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

Surridge Cottage - Peaceful retreat

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Surridge Cottage is beautiful, as soon as we arrived down the lane we knew it would be perfect and it was and more. The cottage has been beautifully restored with high end finishes. Even the heated floor in the bathroom didn't go missed (my daughter loved it). Great location, we took a few trips out. Went into Lyme Regis and took the children to Crealy. If you want a private country break in a cottage, you won't beat it. Thank you, The Mellors x

Comfy detached rural cottage Devon -hot tub, views

JonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

CameronRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Westcountry house, hot tub, & outdoor heated pool

ZaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

200 year old character cottage close to beach

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just returned from a long weekend in North Devon and a stay at Carpenters Cottage, the cottage itself is beautiful, quaint and quirky, we loved it! The roll top bath was fabulous for a long relaxing soak after lots of exploring. The outside space was perfect for us, just a nice space to sit and enjoy a drink of an evening. The log burner, whilst we didn’t use it, had everything you would need to be super cosy. Our host Jon, was spot on with directions etc and recommendations and super helpful going above and beyond with requests I made prior to arrival, thank you 🙏🏻. We would have no problems in recommending Jon and Carpenters Cottage 😊

Oyster Shell Cottage, charming character near quay

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Oyster shell cottage is a charming traditional cottage, well positioned for the local pubs and restaurants, a 2 minute walk to the quayside. It is finished to a high standard, with a small secluded courtyard which is a bit of a suntrap, ideal for reading with a cuppa! The host Vanessa and Andrew could not have been more helpful in keeping in contact and answering our quiries even though they were on holiday themselves. We would highly recommend.

Stunning location in the centre of Exmoor

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Tracey and Simon's place is a fabulous little cottage set on their beautiful little farm. The cottage has everything you'll need to make yourself comfortable, and even more so. You'll have your own little area that is fenced off to let your pooches off lead and a table to sit and admire the surroundings and their animals. A private parking spot and easy check in made arrival smooth. Tracey and Simon were even kind enough to make us a little cake on arrival, which was delicious. This place is definitely worth a stay if you want some peace and quiet.

We loved our stay! The place was beautiful, and the surroundings were peaceful. We’ve never had such a well-equipped kitchen in an Airbnb! The place is perfect if you have kids: we were provided with a cot and a high chair. We even found baby cutlery in the kitchen. The bookshelf was great for reading books to our baby as well. In addition, the recommendations we received were great, and the communication with Liz and Robert was friendly and engaging. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful place for our stay.

Cosy bolthole, near stunning beaches, free parking

JohnRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We absolutely loved our stay! The place had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Dom and Sue have clearly put a lot of thought into the details – the guidebook was incredibly informative and helpful. We especially appreciated the peaceful location, the lovely back garden, and the swing – such a relaxing spot. A special highlight was getting the chance to visit Sue’s beautiful studio and gallery at the back of the garden – truly inspiring! As a family travelling with a baby, we were grateful for the provided travel cot, sheets, and high chair, which made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Stylish cottage in Mortehoe

Stuart RoryRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Nice old cottage. Well equipped. Lovely little enclosed garden, very safe for small children. Had a good meal at the Chichester arms. Lots of local ales/ciders on cask/draught. Some rugged coastal paths to explore although not great for small children. 2 minor points to raise about the property. Not criticisms. The fireplace is open with wood burner and slate surround. Could be a bit risky for small children bumping heads. We had to have eyes in the back of our heads for our 1 year old climber. The other point is there were no recycling bins provided at the property when other local homes have them. The suggestion in the house documentation was for those who wished to recycle to collect it up and take it home with them. Not at all practical in a family of 4 who drove 290 miles and stayed for a week. I felt very guilty throwing everything away. Would gladly visit again. Thanks for a great week.

Seaside cottage - newly refurbished

JanetRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a great holiday staying at 'SeaCrest' in Combe Martin. Both Paul and Becki our hosts were very helpful. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a modern interior. The cottage is right on the beach almost, a perfect location for eateries as well. Although the cottage is next to the pub, this was never an issue, no noise problems and we found the parking simple and always found a space, although we were there in term time. We found plenty to do in the area and loved the countryside and walking the coastal path. We drove to some places but also used the hourly bus service. everywhere was family friendly. We will be back!
