House vacation rentals in Leakey

Our family of 14 had more than enough room to have different activities at one time. Pool was a blessing and family enjoyed evenings swimming and playing. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our family as well. Was close enough to attractions which was also a plus. Thank you for sharing your home this past week.

Mary and Ken’s wildlife ranch is hands-down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It’s private, serene, perfectly situated in hill country, just outside of Fredericksburg. The home itself has everything you need and is the best stocked Airbnb I have ever encountered. The wildlife was amazing… we easily counted over 60 wild deer each day coming and going, as well as wild hog, turkey, and many birds. As an Airbnb host this is the level of hosting I strive for… they have thought of everything and ensure that you are well looked after; they are kind and generous hosts. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a getaway away from the crowd, but close enough to go to town if you want to.

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

This was a wonderful house. Very clean and I love the coffee area! The swimming pool nice and warm. The whole house was a great place to hangout with our Airman. The beds were so nice and comfortable. I could have slept in each day but had a schedule to follow. Communication was outstanding. All questions were answered right away. I would love to stay there again if I ever have another trip to San Antonio.

Richard was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and accommodating in every way. The home was perfect for our family, with a spacious open floor plan that made it easy and comfortable to move around. We especially loved the game room and the pool—both were big hits with everyone. The location strikes a great balance: close enough to the city to enjoy all it has to offer, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for relaxing. Great place, and Cathy is great. Only main thing that bothered us, which we may have missed during booking is the trash you have to take off the property and pay at their garbage disposal place on certain days of the week or take home.

We had such a great time! Everything’s was wonderful! The owners are amazing and so sweet and helpful! I would give them 100 stars if I could! They is so much to do there even if you can’t go float cause the river is down! I was super impressed! Ty so much for having us and we will be back!

My boyfriend and I loved the casita, and especially enjoyed the hot tub. It’s beautiful and peaceful, complete with comfy bed and couches. Well located to all of the beautiful nature and scenic drives in the area. I would stay here again.

This is our second time staying at Hawk’s Haven. Just as good as we remembered it the first time, plenty of space for our kids and grandparents to share the house for a long weekend trip. The location, size and comfort of this home is what will keep you coming back for future stays. The only ‘con’ if any are the stickerburs in the area that you may track into the house, wearing socks and tennis shoes helped tremendously. The host, Blanca, was also great. She was super transparent and communicative about everything. It was never hard to get in touch with her. She’s great at what she does! Thank you for another great stay. We hope to come back again.

Robin’s place in the Texas hill country is an absolutely gorgeous property and a rare find indeed. The house is wonderfully architected, well decorated, and fully stocked. The property is absolutely beautiful with scenic overlooks, hikes, and abundant and lush natural surroundings. The deck is a highlight; very large, well furnished, and it makes for quite the idlic grill spot! Robin was a wonderful host and extremely responsive. I’m already looking forward to a return trip!

Our family of four spent four nights here. It’s such a unique spot, with the house being just above a shallow part of the river running over rocks. The sound is incredibly peaceful. The property has a long riverfront that you can enjoy, ranging from the rocky shallow areas to a deeper section where you can start canoeing. We used one of the canoes, plus there was one single kayak and one SUP. A 15-20 minute paddle puts you at Angel Falls which is a beautiful area to splash in the water or just relax. We caught some little bass along the way. The area has fun activities as well, including The Point Theater and Crider’s Rodeo & Dancehall. The house itself could have been cleaner but the location felt so amazing that we didn’t really care. So thankful for the opportunity to stay at this magical property! Truly unique!

Hands down the best Air B N B experience we have had. Luxurious, peaceful, excellent local eateries; and I must comment on the incredible coffee provided, it was WONDERFUL. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular on the patio deck that had everything possible for the best relaxation, from the hot tub to the outdoor furniture, it was simply a divine stay. Sharon communicated immediately with any questions we had. Words cannot describe how wonderful Sharon’s place is! Can’t wait to come back!

Look no further! This peaceful, relaxing retreat is fantastic! The pool is perfectly situated in the serene backyard. Spend the day in Fredericksburg, and the next in San Antonio. There’s so much to do just a short drive away. Our group loved staying at this house and cannot wait to book again!

My family had a wonderful stay here. The house was spacious. The deck was a lovely place to have breakfast every morning. I liked that the place was isolated. We didn't see anyone else in the area. It was fun walking down to the river and wading in the water. The hot tub was great. We really loved how close it was to Lost Maples state park. Brent was a terrific host and communicated regularly. We will definitely be back!

Really great sized house that was perfect for our stay. Ample room, really great back yard to hang out in that's fully fenced off. I really appreciated the lack of chemical smells post cleaning that I feel like so many Airbnbs have. We were extremely comfortable! Thanks Sandra!

This was our very first time in a red room. Every room. Was staged perfectly. Definitely will return!

Nice place to unwind. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. This place has a nice pool with plenty of lounging chairs . Comfortable bed and pillows . Spacious living room with large dining table. Our family of 10 had an awesome weekend. Our little Yorkie enjoyed running around the fenced yard . It’s about 20 minutes drive from the shops and restaurants. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. Very nice outdoor setting and covered patio with comfortable rocking chairs . We will definitely book this place again on our next visit . Five star rating from the Ong family and our little Yorkie.

Relaxing and peaceful stay with views outside every window. The saltwater pool was refreshing after some time in the sauna…(comfy robes provided) what a treat! Able to walk the property (the hill is a doable work out) and enjoy the sounds of nature and new view scapes. My dog loved it with a fenced yard! Mostly put my feet up, read, and relaxed…even though there are so many options for playing games or catching up on movies with tvs available in almost every room. Definitely a destination for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway or large family reunions with something for everyone. So special to truly feel like I was in the heart of the hill country but with all the amenities and close to the lovely town of Fredericksburg. Hope to make Galaxy View a regularly retreat.

Home was clean and comfortable, nice yard, across the street from the river, had mostly everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. It is about 8 miles west of FM 1340 and the Hunt store. Plenty of games for the kids and adults. My grandkids loved the little flip phone and making s’mores.
