Frio Riverfront House+Bunkhouse, Volleyball Pool!

GabrielleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was very spacious and fit everyone comfortably. The water was a little low in behind the property but melinda expressed that with us and we found a spot couple hundred yards that toddlers and adults were able to acess..overall such a good place for a getaway

We had such a great time! Everything’s was wonderful! The owners are amazing and so sweet and helpful! I would give them 100 stars if I could! They is so much to do there even if you can’t go float cause the river is down! I was super impressed! Ty so much for having us and we will be back!

The Loft @ Owl Hollow

JoannRating, 5 stars22 months ago
The property at at The Owl Loft is beautiful it is surrounded by hills and one of the best parts besides the pool ( grand babies loved the pool) was the amazing view of the stars at night we even got to see some shooting stars. We had some of the donkeys great us when we got in which was also a highlight for the family. The house was clean and well stocked the kitchen had everything you’d need there were plenty of towels and extra sheets as well.

On the Twisted Sisters route! Casa Verde!

SandiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Betty's Airbnb was perfect and location is great. The pet friendly aspect was the biggest highlight for us. The pups had room to run and play and expend all of their energy. The only caveat is that the property is very close to Ranch Rd. 337 which is a busy road, and is not fenced off, so do not expect dogs to free range unless they have superb recall or E-collars. The kitchen is well equipped, the home very clean, and the the front and back outdoor space is very nice. It would be great to have a gate closing off the front porch for kids or pups but we did fine. Also a door closing off the upstairs bedroom for privacy would be ideal, but again, we had no problem with it. Our only challenge was the rude "Karen" neighbor who owns the land between the home and the river, so river access is not as easy as it could have been and they claimed to also control who swims in the public waterway in front of their home. Despite that, we had a blast and highly recommend.

Brokyn Rio Bungalow on the Frio!

LindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Seclusion, surrounded by nature--that describes the bungalow on stilts where we stayed in Leakey, Texas. From all the road signs of caution, the stilts are probably for flooding. We stayed during a dry spell, and River Frio was low but still beautiful. No one else in sight, total peace at night The two-bedroom cabin itself is delightful. The enclosed back patio afforded a lovely view. The kitchen and laundry met our needs, and the TV included Netflix. Extremely clean with a fresh, new looking interior.

River House #1

NormaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely and private location on the Frio. The home has a wonderful floorplan featuring two living spaces. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, living area, large dining area and elevated outdoor patio that gets a nice breeze in the evening. The downstairs has a bedroom but an additional 3 futon that the kids enjoyed sleeping on and a full bathroom. The downstairs area also has a large covered patio area. The home has a well stocked kitchen, is very close to restaurants, stores & Garner State Park. We will definitely stay here again. Temple was quick to reply and very helpful with questions I had. The coffee maker has both drip and pod options. There is not a dishwasher so you will need tonhandeash dishes. We got paper plates to make it easier when our group was larger. There are several stores in the area for groceries but I recommend getting most before you get to Leakey as they will be cheaper.

Luxury Secluded Ranch, Stunning View, 3 fireplaces

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful. The linens in the beds were clean and comfortable! Bathrooms had all enmities. House is very spacious for a big family and friends. Kids had plenty of room to run around outside and inside. The river in the back was very nice. It's not a great place to swim due to the stinky mud that smells if it's irritated. We did enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards though. We caught a good amount of fish and enjoyed watching the turtles. This is our second time there and probably not our last.
