This was our second stay at Carey's place. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The kitchen is open and functional. The living area is spacious and open. We especially enjoy the back porch and natural, quiet surroundings. The quiet, dark bedroom makes it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. We love this location and would definitely stay again.

We LOVED Paula's place. It was more than perfect for us a family of 4. The house was stocked well with everything needed to cook family meals. We really enjoyed the closeness of the Guadalupe River. My kids really enjoyed the canoe & fishing. The property was beautiful & peaceful. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a disconnect from city life.

This home was beautiful. The host was very accommodating and our stay was comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will stay again if we come back to the area.

This was hands-down one of the most amazing and unique Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! I had surprised my husband for his 40th and he was blown away (which is hard to do!) From the moment we arrived, we were completely immersed in a magical puzzle adventure that had us hooked from beginning to end. The attention to detail was absolutely incredible—every clue, prop, and piece of the experience was so thoughtfully designed, it truly felt like stepping into another world. They even had a little gift for my husband as part of the “experience” and that was absolutely everything. But what made it even more unforgettable was our host. Kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. You can tell they put their heart into every part of this experience. Whether you’re a puzzle lover or just looking for something out of the ordinary, do not miss this gem! Thank you for everything, Tami!

We rented Alan‘s place for a family getaway. We were a crew of eight, two middle aged adults and six college age kids. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when they wanted privacy, and amazing common areas for us to get together when we wanted. The decor of the house and the outdoor layout allows you to experience nature and the best of family bonding. Amazingly within walkable access just down from a gravel road on the property there is a deep swimming hole, rope swing, and a little waterfall that still has lots of water even though the Medina river has gone through hard times lately. So one can still get to spend time in the river. The town is pretty adorable too. We went to the Bandera Riding on Faith rodeo Friday night and really got to experience a bit of cowboy culture. There are lots of places to shop eat drink in the downtown area and everyone is really friendly. Lastly, Alan was great at communication and was always in touch if we needed.

This is one of our favorite summer trips! The house is comfortable and plenty spacious! And the water and surroundings are beautiful and keep us and the kids busy for plenty of days. We will be back! Thanks Ian!

This is a great “get away” place. Private, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Our host, Laura, provided us with a list of things to do; and they were great recommendations. Is about 10-15 minutes (driving/uber) from downtown Fredericksburg; so you have the choice to go downtown during the day and have a peaceful evening at this place. It’s relaxing, and you’ll connect with nature. Every day we saw deers, rabbits, and wild life (of course, a little far away from the place). If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!!!! 💯 % recommended

Susanne went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I on a very short notice. The bungalow is a perfect stay for two, located few minutes from the Pearl area in San Antonio. We received a warm welcome with baked goods she prepared for us. Susanne literally will make you a better person while staying at her place. From the chicken coop to the recycling instructions she shows to care for not only her guests, but Mother Earth! We truly enjoyed our stay! Gracias Susanne! Book it yall.

Lovely grounds and nice, cozy apartment on the first floor with a full kitchen, large bath, nice living room. Bed was so comfortable that we overslept! You really can't beat the grounds - like going to a park. No street noise. Out of town yet a five minute drive to anywhere you want to go. Best of both worlds. Beats a hotel room by a mile

We wanted peace and relaxation and we got it! We spent our honeymoon on Gracie’s property, and it was lovely. Had access to hot tub, pool, and fishing dock. Close to town. Host is super sweet and accommodating. Hope to get back soon.

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

A found a great place to stay while visiting my sister who lives in Helotes and was a perfect get away only about a mile away from her. The host's Bob and Patti were very gracious and very helpful. It's a perfect over the garage loft that has all you need in it. Very quite. Sky lights light up the room. Clean and clean smelling. I enjoyed my ten day vacation experience there, you will too.

They were very kind and responsive. I appreciated the pet friendly environment and that they provided a bowl for our fur babies! I would definitely return to this beautiful home!

Loved this place! Butch and Elena were amazing hosts, super responsive and went out of their way to make the place feel like home. So much thought and care was put in to this little slice of heaven and it shows. 10 outta 10 recommend! Make sure to check out the local recommendations notebook for some awesome places!

Wild Oak Ranch is at good location, where has an easy access to Garner State Park and Lost Maple State Park. Also, the ranch has 10 acres lot, where you can enjoy sunset at patio and watch deer in morning and evening. This Wild Oak Ranch is prefect location for hiking in the Hill Country and State Park.

Dates: May 24th-June 9th Views/Environment: Spectacular views! Secluded. Peaceful. Stargazing while in the hot tub. Nature walk/hiking/outdoors. Picture perfect! Cabin: Spacious! Great layout. Comfy bed! Great amenities and well stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, and grill stuff. Bathrooms are great and complete with bath towels and hot tub towels. Wifi available. Host: Spencer is a great host! I originally rented the cabin for 4 days but then i kept extending it and Spencer was easy to work with! I ended up staying from May 24th-June 9th. Location: The cabin was my home base. From there, we went to places like New Braunfels, Boerne, Kerrville, Frio River, Bandera, and other great places nearby. The bars in Bandera are awesome!!! We met a lot of people and I enjoyed the place so much. Check-in/Check-out: Super easy! No hassle. I highly recommend this place, 10/10! Looking forward to my next visit to Texas!

we loved it! it was secluded and gorgeous. your host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and knew about our surroundings. she even checked in on us which I really appreciated. im hoping to go there every year for our anniversary

We loved our stay here! The house was gorgeous & was everything we needed for anniversary getaway. The hot tub was great, and we loved playing shuffleboard & just relaxing on the couches. Joseph checked in with us to see if we need anything & was extremely helpful. We can’t wait to come back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Nora and Raul’s place was exactly as described and then some! They thought of everything to make their guests feel right at home. The cabin was cozy and peaceful and the river just down the road was perfect! We already can’t wait to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our night! Incredibly peaceful, comfortable!! My daughter loved the stock stank pool, we enjoyed the hot tub the nice breeze, the welcome from the dogs:) I appreciate the noon checkout also, it’s hard to find Airbnbs that have anything later than 11:00. The star gazing is amazing!
