The rural or "Colonica" house of the Podere di Belforte has ancient origins. Its roots are the history of the Villamagna hills, where it was built in the Middle Ages. The architectural structure, the various stone-cracks and the wooden lintels in the walls - brought back to view after the restoration - clarify its use as a Watchtower. In 1700, it was transformed into a farmhouse for agricultural use.
