Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt

We stayed in at the end of May and we had a great time. The house was beautiful and looked just like the photos, very peaceful. Train station, grocery stores and bakery close by. Host was very responsive, couldn’t ask for anything more. Was everything we needed.

What a beautiful house in the country! Plenty of space, gorgeous backyard with lots to do & a convenient patio for dining al fresco. Nicholas was super helpful, responsive & a valuable resource. 15 min from Versailles & a quiant little village with friendly people, a beautiful church, and all the necessary shops within walking distance. Lots of hills in town & lots of stairs in the house so if you have health restrictions, 4 floors of living space & outside stairs might be challenging. If not, go for it. It's an absolute paradise in the country, perfect for relaxing, for hosting and for exploring a more leisurely pace of life. We had a lovely stay at this charming chalet as a family of three plus a friend. The chalet was the perfect size for us, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. Our three-year-old especially loved the peaceful surroundings, and we really appreciated that there was no traffic or cars nearby—it felt very safe and quiet. The location was ideal too: tucked away in nature yet still very close to central Paris. A perfect escape with easy city access. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. A perfect escape with the best of both worlds. Highly recommended!

The four of us had a wonderful stay at the villa Elizabeth. The house is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The three bedrooms are independent, giving everyone their privacy and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a temperature controllable water kettle which we loved. The bathrooms were spotless, the towels were soft and there were nice soaps in the shower. The electric towel heaters were a nice luxury too. Since the weather was beautiful we also very much enjoyed the private outside terrace. The Versailles palace is only 5 minutes away by car and parking at the palace was easy. Having a grocery store in the street just a few minutes walk away is a nice convenience too. There is no parking on the property itself but it was usually not an issue to find free street parking. Noėmi was super responsive before and during our stay. I highly recommend the Villa Elizabeth for anyone visiting Versailles who wants to stay in a nice, comfortable home.

Some of the best parts about vacations are the memories. Our extended stay of two weeks at Isabelle’s home brings us memories of quiet nights, relaxing mornings and a home-away-from-home. We enjoyed the fully fitted kitchen after shopping at the Farmers Market in town. Our day trips into Paris were eventful, but we were always happy to get back to Croissy for the evening. Isabelle has been able to incorporate a sensible and sophisticated design in her flat. An attentive host that reached out to us during our stay to make sure our experience would measure up to her expectations as a premier owner. We departed Croissy as happy travelers with fond remembrances.

Christine’s place is in a perfect location—just a short walk to the Palace of Versailles and surrounded by many great restaurants. The apartment itself was wonderful: spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished (with some antiques). The beds were very comfortable, the linens were crisp and fresh, and the whole space felt like home from the moment we arrived. It’s in a quiet area, yet close to everything. The shower was excellent, and we really appreciated having an elevator in the building, especially with our luggage. Parking our rental car in the nearby covered garage was a big plus. Christine’s daughter, Caroline, greeted us and was absolutely lovely—prompt, welcoming, and full of helpful information. We visited Versailles during the day and returned for the fountain and fireworks show at night. Both times we walked and felt very safe. I highly recommend Christine’s place Tip: Don’t miss the crepes at Crêperie des 2 Portes and Aux Merveilleux de Fred.

Très bel appartement traversant et confortable. Rue gratuite en voiture avec toujours de la place juste devant le portail très appréciable. Tout le nécessaire pour bébé. Manquait juste l information de savoir quel appartement c était à l étage donc perdu beaucoup de temps à l arrivée en pleine nuit mais sinon tout était top. Je garde le logement de Simon dans mes favoris pour une prochaine visite de la famille sur Paris.

Beautiful appartment situated right in the heart of Versailles and only 10 minutes walk to the Palace and gardens. Honestly, the location couldnt be better. Rooms were stylishly decorated with extremely comfortable sofas and beds. We stayed for two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer. Visited the Palace and Central Paris, which was easily reached using the RER train. Philippe was the perfect host, providing lots of information about local restaurants and pubs and travel advice. He sorted our car parking too. Thanks Philippe! I would highly recommend this appartment to anybody visiting Versailles or Paris

C'est la deuxième fois que je séjourne dans l'appartement de Sylvio et Laetitia, tout était aussi bien que la première fois. La proximité de la gare, 10mn à pieds, le centre commercial à deux pas. Sylvio et Laetitia à l'écoute, toutes les conditions étaient remplies pour passer une super semaine . Et on dit: Jamais deux sans trois 😉 Je recommande vivement cet appartement.

Wir (zwei Familien) mit zwei Kindern (1&2 Jahre) waren bei Mehdi Zuhause. Es hat uns sehr gefallen und es war auch Kinderfreundlich. Es ist eine super Lage und vom Ausblick brauchen wir gar nicht zu sprechen. Vielen dank für alles 🥰 Kleiner Tipp, einen Mülleimer mehr im Badezimmer wäre toll 😉

The location was brilliant, the space at Katie was so well thought out and brilliantly equipped and furnished. So many local restaurants, bars, shops a wonderful local food market selling fresh organic foods. so peaceful to walk around late at night, but easy to get to the iconic attractions in Paris. I would definitely book again : )

Pour un séjour à Versailles, le logement est parfait. Très bien situé. Beaucoup de restaurants et de petits cafés aux alentours. Le château de Versailles est à 10 minutes à pied. Le quartier est relativement calme. L’hôte est très accueillante et gentille. Tout est à disposition pour cuisiner. Je recommande !

We loved our stay at Anne-Sophie’s place in Versailles. The apartment is on a quiet street, about a 5 minute walk from a handful of restaurants. It is also only about 5 minutes walking to Grille de la Reine (Queen’s Gate) that leads you into a free section of the Versailles Palace grounds. This is the best shortest route to see Marie Antoinette’s hamlet. The apartment was clean and well equipped with clean linens and towels. We stayed as 2 adults and 2 children. We had no issues and no complaints. Anne-Sophie met us to check in and we checked out on our own via the lockbox. This was a great “base camp” for seeing Versailles and an excellent way to relax a bit after a week of traveling.
