Great little feel-good house with cool furniture and wonderful views!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was all very clean and cozy. Monica was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. She gave us great tips for excursions in the area and was always available when we needed something. The house is very cozy and the view from the garden and the balcony is fantastically beautiful. We really enjoyed our vacation and would be happy to come back.

Everything was perfect, very clean, comfortable The kitchen is very well equipped. And our favorite place is the balcony with an extraordinary view! A nice neat apartment, you feel very good. Thank you for these hours of happiness!

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal place to explore the valley with the beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

Donatella and Ezio were the sweetest, most amazing hosts. Very helpful with recommendations, super responsive, the place was very clean, the surroundings amazing, peaceful, quiet, great views and walks available straight from the house. If we will come back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

Despite bad weather, we had a very relaxing week in this very idyllically located cozy house. The house is carefully renovated and tastefully decorated. The location is unique: all alone on a clearing in the forest. We will be happy to come back.

We are a family with two kids (age 11 and 14) and we had a wonderful stay at Petra's place. The apartment is very well located. Within 3-5 min by walk are top restaurants, an excellent bakery, a supermarket, as well as public transports. Yet the place is very quiet. The apartment is conveniently located for both hiking (there are even trailheads at a few hundreds meters) and river activities. The apartment was sparkling clean, we felt right at home. Petra and Andrea are nice hosts, providing lots of useful tips (food, activities) but respect your privacy. They live on the ground floor. Definitely recommended! We would come back without hesitation.

Milena's apartment is the perfect place to explore the beautiful region of Ticino. The apartment is really homely and has everything you could need. The bed is large and so comfortable! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was easy to reach, and the property exceeded our expectations—looking even more stunning than the pictures. The home was neat, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights was the serene garden, where we could hear the constant chirping of birds and the soothing sound of a small waterfall—pure bliss! The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help with any extra needs we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, delightful getaway!

Such an incredible view from balcony. And the place was so cute!! Absolutely loved it. Only bummer was how early bus stopped bc taxi to place was a bit costly. Also for those from US when she says it’s on the first floor that actually meant the top floor. I was a bit confused at first getting in. But i think ground and garden are the lower levels. Janine was awesome. Let us keep our luggage in garage after we checked out so we were able to fully enjoy our last day here!!

Property in a good location. Quiet. Close to nature. Quite village. Good place to stay.

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with very good quality recent appliances (induction stove, futuristic extractor hood, all necessary utensils available, magnificent fridge… all impeccably clean). It's hard to go back to our modest city apartment. 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. The containers for the trash are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously supplied with towels of different sizes and highly appreciated basic products. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hope to be able to come back to Reto's in winter!

Four of us stayed here for only a couple days and were incredibly impressed by the spectacular view of the lake and the surroundings. It looked like out of a travel magazine. The unit itself was quite nice with total upgrades everywhere which were in top condition. If you are driving yourself up the hill to the home be prepared for some fun driving adventures on twisting turning curves that are somewhat narrow. We always had a driver. We could see that it takes some experience to get good at it.

It was just perfect! The view is breathtaking, the amenities were incredibly good and everything was super clean. Everything is neat and perfectly prepared. You can feel the love of the host in every detail. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back! Thank you for everything.

A wonderful, spacious villa in keeping with era, with beautiful terrace and gardens. near to town and the ferryboat terminal. Roxanna was an excellent attentive host.

Beautiful home and even better view of the lake and surround towns. Really what we wanted to get a relaxing yet fun experience. Would definitely come again and highly suggest for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. They truly embody the ideal concept of what Airbnb should always be. Thanks to the whole family

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!
