Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Wir hatten als fünfköpfige Familie ein wunderbares Wochenende in Uitgeest. Die Umgebung mit der Windmühle, den Wiesen mit viel Wasser, Natur und dem schönen Ort direkt um die Ecke sind der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge ans Meer oder nach Haarlem und Amsterdam. Unsere Gastgeber waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht und ist schön gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Een heel leuk huisje en mooi gelegen, zeker als je van rust houd. Hoewel het ook een rustig plekje is, is Amsterdam goed bereikbaar met een uber of zelf met de auto. De fietsen die je erbij krijgt zijn ook erg handig als je eventjes boodschappen wilt doen of gewoon een lekker stukje wilt fietsen. De gastheer/dame zijn ook super vriendelijk en reageren vaak erg snel! Toen wij iets eerder wilde inchecken dachten ze ook mee met onze planning en konden wij de spullen al eerder brengen. Al met al een wel verdiende 5 sterren!

Osjećali smo se ugodno u smještaju, koji je bio uredan i svime opremljen. Lokacija je dobra i koristili smo se javnim prijevozom, tramvaj broj 19, ako ste grupa do 5 ljudi možete preko aplikacije kupiti dnevnu grupnu kartu za 26 eura koja se nama jako isplatila jer je inače oko 9 eura pojedinačna dnevna karta. U blizini smještaja je i trgovački centar i željeznički kolodvor. U ovoj četvrti smo se osjećali sigurno.

We found the perfect spot to spend a few days in the Breukelen / Maarssen area. Able to live like a local by biking to shops and touring the area. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. Great biking and boating in the area - follow their recommendations. Most welcoming hosts we have met. Thank you for everything.

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very pretty house in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of natural light. The place was far better than the pictures. 20 minute drive from the airport with private parking. The owner lives next door and was very welcoming.

Superb! Sa vezi pe geam întindere de verde, animale domestice și sălbatice, dintr-o casa primitoare...este incredibil. Totul aproape de ce contează, Amsterdam, Haga, campuri de lalele, Keukenhof. Multumim!

Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Das Appartement und Innenhof entsprachen voll und ganz den Angaben und veröffentlichten Bildern. Sehr sauber, geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet, viele kleine Extras. Sehr ruhige Lage, fussläufig zum Zentrum. Machteld hat uns sehr nett empfangen, ist immer ansprechbar und hat gute Tips für Ausflüge, Essen, etc..

Mariette's home was a perfect getaway for the two of us and our dog. The house is thoughtfully prepared with everything guests might need - the kitchen had all the essentials. It was a real pleasure to enjoy views of different wooded areas from every window. The location is fantastic: the beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Muiderberg is about 1 hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam Centraal. It's the perfect balance of peace, nature, and city access! Thanks to Mariette's hospitality and the calm atmosphere of the house, we had a truly memorable holiday. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

Mark ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist eine große Empfehlung und alle größeren Städte wie Amsterdam, den Haag etc. sind sehr gut zu erreichen.

Ich war mit meinem Partner ein verlängertes Wochenende da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Jet ist supersüss und hat uns jeden Abend freundlich begrüsst, wenn wir zurückgekommen sind. Nach Amsterdam hat man ca. 40min mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Auch am Strand ist man sehr schnell mit dem Auto. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen wiederzukommen.

Wir hatten zwei schöne Nächte bei Baastian und Christa. Der Hottub war bei Ankunft vorgewärmt! Wir haben alles nett erklärt bekommen. Christa hat uns netterweise noch einen Kontakt zum Ebikeverleih rausgesucht. Die Betten waren gemütlich und man konnte gemütlich auf der Terasse sitzen mit Blick auf den Polder. Toll war auch die große Regenschuhe. Man ist schnell am Meer oder den kleinen, umliegenden Ortschaften! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft in eurem schönen Rbnb. The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

Nous avons passés un très bon moment dans ce lieux. Nous avons eut de nombreuses recommandations de sorties possibles à proximité ainsi que de lieux ou ce restaurer. Des conseils précis et utile pour notre séjour. Nous avions à notre disposition à notre arrivée des produits locaux nous permettant de goûter aux saveurs locales ce qui est très appréciable. Pour finir notre hôte ce tenait disponible pour toutes questions ou recommandations et est resté très professionnel et à notre écoute. Un grand merci pour nous avoir permis de passer de très bon moments !

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

We waren een paar dagen in het geweldige huisje van Rose voor ons eerste huwelijksjubileum. Rose had heel attent voor ons een roos en een kaartje neergezet, wat meteen zorgde voor een fijn ontvangst! We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad bij de open haard, genoten van de omgeving met onze hondjes en de zonsopkomst vanaf de dijk is fantastisch!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Duinstudio verlebt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Ausstattung, es ist alles vorhanden, vom Küchenzubehör bis zur Ausstattung im Bad mit reichlich Handtüchern, Badematte usw.. Ein herzlicher Empfang von Annelies, die immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Sehr genossen haben wir es,nach einer Radtour oder einer Wanderung im wunderschönem Garten zu sitzen. Auch hier ist alles bestens vorbereitet, schöne Sitzgruppen, Grillkohle für den Grill, Holz für den Gartenkamin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder!
