Krumsholar farmstay 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.

Bjarmaland is an old stonehouse in Hvammstangi. It's a small house, about 55m2 and has three floors with two rooms on the ground floor; Bathroom and Kitchen, the entrance at the first floor, and a cozy Bedroom/Living room on the second floor. Only 1 minute walk to the Supermarket, the Tourist Information Center, Icelandic Seal Center and the restaurant in the town; Sjávarborg. And then there is a nice private bathroom. Steinnes is a farm located in picturesque Icelandic scenery with a beautiful view of mountains and the river running by. It lies 15 minutes (by car) south of Blönduós and 2 km from the main road.

We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

The house is close to the sea and it is very nice to take walk to there and listen to the mysterious sound of the sea and seabirds. You are also free to take walk around our land, as long as you are not walking on our hay fields.
