We had a fantastic experience staying at Danny’s Airbnb in Laois. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and exactly as described — even better in person! Danny was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring the beautiful Laois countryside and we really appreciated the small touches that made it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend Danny’s Place to anyone visiting the area, and we’d love to stay again! Thank you, Kathy, for such a lovely experience!

Sun Light Villa, Castlecomer

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Absolutely fantastic house and host. We were late arriving but Elizabeth left a key out for us. The milk and sweet treats were very much appreciated after a long day. The house is very easy to find. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great. Bathroom is lovely and the shower is fantastic. Our favourite part was definitely the summer house. Such a peaceful and comfy place to curl up with a book. Great location. Lots of food options nearby. The discovery park is great especially the mining museum. Very friendly little town too. We wouldn't be the most sociable people but we even attended a coffee morning in the local charity shop and had a great time.

Georgian Farmhouse in Kilkenny Groups of 16 Beds11

DeborahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Ethel was the "hostess with the mostess" - she thought of absolutely everything, from the candles lit upon our arrival to the syrup for our morning coffees. Ethel also left us a beautiful note for our bride to be, as well as a bottle of bubbles and some lindor - a beautiful touch! Her home was so welcoming, and we were blown away by it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and were so sad to leave!

Sleep Bloom

ElaineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay with Aidan and Elena at Sleep Bloom. Every aspect of the booking and the stay were effortless. The area is so peaceful and beautiful with gorgeous walks and villages with great eating options. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. I have never stayed in a cleaner place! There are ducks and chickens and a lovely cat and the kitchen has everything you need and even bacon, sausages and eggs from their chickens! Their attention to detail is really appreciated. It's perfect!

An absolute gem of a location. Loads of room, incredibly comfortable and all the amenities that you could want. It's also just a short 5 minute drive to Portarlington, but we decided there was little need to leave the house, as it was so relaxing. Margaret is a wonderful host and really made sure that we all felt at home, and we loved our (far too short!) stay. You simply can't go wrong with this place!

The Courtyard

MarianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I think this was the most fully set up airbnb I've ever rented. Marian had left bits for a fry, scones, snacks and even dog treats for our pup. There was milk/butter as well as everything needed to cook for yourself, things like oil, salt/pepper, ketchup etc. Perfectly sized tiny home, plenty of room downstairs in kitchen/livibg area. Cosy bedroom and ensuite upstairs. Clean, nicely decorated and slap bang in the middle of the town.

Stunning 2-Bed Apartment

Mark & LouiseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stayed here with our 3 children for one night. It is close to the motorway & was an ideal place to stay to break up a long journey. The stove was lighting when we arrived & lots of turf left for us to keep the fire going. Milk in the fridge & a fresh loaf of bread for us to enjoy. The kids loved the box of toys & books there also. Stephen was very responsive to any message. Highly recommend.

Great beds and linens, showers were wonderful. Everything was pristine, Apartment a little stark with minimal furnishings and dishes, also trains run most of the day and early in the morning, sometimes 5 to 6 an hour so if you need quiet to sleep not for you. Location was easily walkable to shopping and restaurants. Would stay again based on cleanliness and amazing showers
