Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

We offer incredible cabin located in the heart of South Iceland, the perfect location for sightseeing all the famous natural attractions of the south coast, such as Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, natural mountain pool, the black sand beach or ferry to Vestmannaeyjar Island. The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

Our property is centrally located to explore the nature wonders of the south. Build 2017 in modern yet cosy style. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from the ring road no 1. Most nature attractions in the central south Iceland are within 95 minutes drive from us. It is located in one of the most beautiful part of Iceland on a 140 hectares of land, in between the two big glaciers in the south Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

This beautiful Villa is located in the middle of the South Coast. The perfect locations to take day tours to the Glacier Lagoon or the Black beach in Vik with Vatnajökull National Park in the backyard. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A lovely apartment next to many of the most famous attractions on Iceland such as Seljavallalaug, Skógafoss, Reynisfjara and much more. Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.
