Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lakes Entrance

What a wonderful getaway. If you are looking for quite surroundings and plenty of space Lou's place is highly recommended. We have stayed in Air BnB accommodation all over the world and Lou's home rates as one of the best equipped and comfortable homes we have visited. We loved the very well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean home, and a very comfortable king size bed. Heaven all round. We used the outdoor BBQ area and relaxed in the hammock. Just a short walk into town where you have everything you need. This was our first visit to Lakes Entrance and we loved exploring the region. Thanks Lou.

Comfortable and very clean. Loved eating on the deck and overlooking the canal. And it was an easy 20 minute walk to the Esplanade and dinner at the pub.

Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. The site was easy to get to clean and had everything that we needed. John is an awesome host who kept us informed all the way. Will consider next time we visit South Gippsland.

Simon is a great host. Had every appliances, utensils and entertainment options you can think of. Perfect place for a quite vacation surrounded by nature and wildlife.

Great big house with plenty of beds. We really appreciated the toys, books, high chair etc. Everything kids needed was there. Highly recommend

Garry’s place was perfect for us. Comfortable, in a quiet location, very well equipped and warm. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Close to the shops and very conveniently located. Highly recommend this place.

Our family of five & spoilt pooch ! Had a delightful stay, with lots to see & do , or just do nothing & chill. Katie had ensured we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of local goodies, which we enjoyed. House was equipped with all our needs and the doggie loved exploring the very secure n safe backyard. Would recommend & we definitely hope to return.

We had a great couple of nights at Sharna’s place. The lit fire on arrival was very welcome on a cold autumn night! Lovely view out onto the lake and the place itself was ideal for a short stay like ours. I’d happily recommend a stay to others looking for a base in Lakes Entrance.

Beautiful and clean space to stay in. The beds are very comfortable. I love the ingerbal dedign of the apartment which allows natural lights to come in. The staircase was only the concern especially if you are bringing kids. Overall, it's a reccomened to stay !

This has honestly been my favourite Air bnb I have ever stayed at! Everything about the stay was perfect! Location was magical, Catherine is a beautiful human with a magical soul! Honestly was perfect! And we will 100% be coming back! We also kept extending our stay we didn’t want to leave!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! The place is cosy, clean, and very well-kept—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Anna is incredibly nice and responsive, always quick to answer any questions and genuinely helpful. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, full of useful details that made settling in a breeze. Check-in and check-out were smooth and completely hassle-free. The location is fantastic too—convenient and close to everything I needed. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

The place was very beautiful and the scenic route was breathtaking. Apartment was easy access and had nice, cosy interior with a fully equipped kitchen.

Caroline's space was exactly as advertised, if not better. The sunset views are spectacular. Despite being on the upper floor, it felt like our own space. The pillow choices were fantastic. Caroline was responsive to the single issue that we had, where we tripped the breaker by accident and got it resolved within minutes. Thankyou again!

Very quiet and clean. Exactly what we needed for our one night stop over. Comfortable, private and easy to find. Beautiful views to wake up to. Close to town so easy for dinner or shopping but out of town enough to be quiet and relaxing.

Chris was a great communicator & very helpful with questions we had before we arrived. The house is easy to find & check-in was a breeze. It had all the things we needed to make ourselves at home including a well laid-out kitchen area, utensils & some pantry essentials, a washing machine (no dryer but clothes lines on the back verandah) & even DVDs for a 5yo while dinner was made. There is also a BBQ which I didn't see mentioned in the amenities which was used on a couple of nights. Golden Beach was pretty quiet altho there were a few people at the beaches. They aren't really good for swimming out due to rips & quick drop-offs but nice for some time on the sand, paddling in the shallows or surfing. The town general store makes great old-style takeaway fish & chips, burgers, etc. & has very reasonably priced alcohol, food & household items. We thoroughly recommend it as a nice quiet place to get away to. Note: Reception on 4G phones was patchy & some days only the 5G phone worked.

When I entered the premise, my reaction was ..."WOW". It's my dream home. Interial design, decoration, everything very good..It's stunning. location also convinent，groceries, different kinds of food , you named it. Needless to say, the host is super friendly and responsive. This is a place everyone shall spend more days at it!
