Charming and tidy lake home near Montello, a town with plenty to do! Neighbors were friendly! Beautiful sunsets over Buffalo Lake!

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this cottage in Wild Rose is the ideal spot. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already talking about when we can return. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The interior was cozy yet spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The kitchen was well-stocked with anything needed to prepare foods, and included a wonderful gift basket to make us feel at home! The host responded to all questions, quickly and thoughtfully! Our favorite part? The lake with its sandy bottom. The water was great and there were plenty of water toys for the whole family! The dock provided easy access in and out of the lake…to swim, kayak, float, or use a paddle board! The multi-leveled deck was perfect for relaxing , drinking a morning coffee, or reading a book. If you're looking for a great place for a family vacation this lakeside cottage is a perfect choice!

This is a gem if you like to walk to local restaurant have access to all the stores you need and a need to feel surrounded by nature. The master bedroom was so wonderful with a screen door to leave open at night for fresh air, also a small balcony to view the water from bedroom. We left the outdoor summer lights on the deck that somehow reflected on the ceiling of the master bedroom at night it left a beautiful light pattern, magical place, to see turtles, birds and we saw a heron as we left the house, resting on the dock. Great location and amazing hosts! We had dinner on the grill with music it was simply perfect.- Thanks, again to our hosts! Worth it!

We had a great weekend stay at Becky’s. Two adults and three kids ages 6-13. We all had so much fun on the lake with the paddle boards, kayak, and lily pad. The water is so clean and clear! Kids caught fish off the dock. The house was spacious and the family room with huge TV was great space to play games and watch shows/sports after a day on the lake. Great space to eat meals outside and a fire pit to make s’mores for dessert. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Perfect little place for the weekend. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and inviting. The host was very friendly and responsive.

It was a great place to stay. Very remote. Right off the water so it was nice for fishing. Plenty of space for a bigger group.

The stay was amazing, everything is the same as pictured. All dishes and towels were also nice and clean. House is in a nice peaceful neighborhood as well!

Mary’s place was so nice. Right on the water & so relaxing and peaceful. It’s just a short drive to get to the downtown Dells & lots of things to do & see. Mary was quick to respond to any questions I had & was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property with a lot of activities to keep the family busy. The sunsets over the lake were priceless. Doug purchased marshmallows roasters for us to use over the fire pit. Plenty of outdoor seating on the huge patio. The beds were amazing to sleep on. There was plenty of wild life to see and even had a groundhog that made appearances almost every day. Great place to relax and looking forward to staying there again.

We loved the view of Little Green Lake from the dining area, and from the living room, and from right by water's edge on the small deck. Just so peaceful and beautiful! Enjoyed a few sunsets as well. Kitchen was well equipped, had everything you might need. House was located on a quiet road, so we were able to take several walks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful house, super clean lake, excellent location, grocery store just a mile away. We used canoes and paddle boards, host generously provided table games as well. Pool table was a hit with the boys and they played multiple times a day. Two separate living spaces were great for adults and our teens. We also were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. Will definitely rent the house again!

Wonderful home for a big family or group! Lots to do (if you’re not already busy!). The home has everything you need to rest, relax, and make killer meals. Madison is a quick 30 minute drive away as well. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would return. The home was clean and we felt right at home. Our dogs loved the yard and the view overlooking the lake was beautiful. The home was just as described, and check-in was easy. Nathan was responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. I would recommend staying at Nathan's, he is a great host, and we were grateful for our time there.

Our family had a great stay here. The place had everything we needed from strong wifi, extra towels, a kitchen stocked with plenty of utensils and even little extras in the bathrooms. Katie was always responsive to messages. The house was comfortable and in a great location - only a short walk to shops and cafes. Great to have a driveway for parking! It did get a little hot in the bedrooms upstairs for sleeping but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the backyard seating area.

This home is set in a beautiful location right next to Devil's Lake State Park. It is set in a large lovely wooded yard, with a big deck and concrete patio, along with a large fenced portion with tons of playground equipment for kids. The children had a wonderful time playing in the playhouse and coloring on the large chalkboard, with enough swings for the kids too! It was over 90 degrees outside during our stay, and we were able to beat the heat by escaping indoors to their lovely airconditioned home, with more than enough space to relax and play games in the comfy livingroom. The kitchen was well organized with enough space to stash all of the food and beverages we brought, along with them providing us all the diningware, bowls, pots and pans that we needed. We all had such a great vacation here, that we've decided we want to come back next year!

We had a peaceful and quiet weekend at Tina’s lovely lake house, and exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we needed. The space was perfect for our group of four, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy both indoor and outdoor time. The property is beautifully tucked away in nature, so do not forget your bug spray, the bugs were definitely out in full force, and pollen was everywhere during our stay. That said, the setting by the lake was serene and absolutely worth it. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, which were a pleasant surprise, and the bonfire nights under the stars were unforgettable. A couple of things to note: we didn’t realize how many stairs there would be, but it wasn’t a major issue. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the AC units and the Sonos speakers, but Tina was super attentive and quick to respond, which we appreciated. The shower heads could use an update, and the hot water didn’t last too long, but nothing that really detracted from our overall stay.

Great stay, apartment was very nice and clean, very spacious with downstairs game room and couches as well.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house layout was perfect for the six of us, providing space to both be together and have privacy. We spent lots of time outside enjoying the kayaks, porch and fire pit. We'd definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a night after visiting Wisconsin Dells. Though it was a bit of a hike from there, it was totally worth it. The cabin is on the lake front and the view is fantastic. It is quiet and cozy. The campfire setup at the backyard was our highlight

We had a great stay at the house! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable time. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and communication with the host was easy and pleasant. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had a wonderful time.! We enjoyed the peacefulness and wildlife at Mike’s place. We took advantage of the nearby park for biking. We tried to fish off of the dock. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub on several occasions. It was wonderful having s’mores around the fire. We took advantage of local dining as well as driving 20 minutes to Madison. We loved the Brazilian Steakhouse! We also traveled 35 minutes to Fort Atkinson to enjoy our favorite dinner theater, the Fireside. There is a delicious local bakery that is inexpensive. Go in the morning because they sell out. My very favorite part was watching and listening to the birds. Mike has a bird feeder that attaches to the window in his sun room. We went to Walmart 10 minutes away and bought bird seed (on the last day I saw Mike has bird seed) and 2 cakes of suet. The suet was gone in 5 days! That’s how many birds we had. The home is clean and well appointed. They have MANY books sitting out.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was very clean, and check-in was super easy and straightforward. It’s a perfect spot for families or groups of friends — the living room is spacious and comfortable, and the large table made meals and game nights a breeze. Beds were cozy and we all slept well. The location is also a big plus — just a short walk from the downtown Dells strip, which made exploring and getting around very convenient. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The only minor issue we had was getting the TV to connect properly, but I didn’t reach out about it during the stay, so that’s on me. I’m confident the host would have taken care of it if I had mentioned it! Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this place to others!
