Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lake Te Anau

Amazing 5 star place , warm and cozy with great views, we had a v comfortable stay , felt like home away from home with all the amenities you can think of... thanks for hosting us. when ever time permits we would love to visit again... :)

We didn’t think much booking this little room but we absolutely loved it. Immediately felt so comfortable and clean, Jenny was a lovely proactive host. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to NZ!

The homestead is beautiful. It’s like a time travel to the 70’s until 90’s. It reminded me of my grandparents house. The space is huge every thing is very well mantained and it has a beautiful sun coming in the afternoon. The whole precinct has a big garden and a lot of curious things to appreciate. Host was very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast provision for one to cook.

We had a lovely time staying in Jan and Jeff's beautiful home. The place is really charming with a gorgeous garden and hot tub and views of the mountains, very peaceful. Jeff and Jan were the friendliest and most helpful hosts. highly recommend!

Polly's place was perfect for us - close to Te Anau but with a private feel and gorgeous views looking out over the lake. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore Milford Sound from. Polly was friendly and we had everything we needed. We'd happily stay again if we ended up back in the area!

Nathan and Liz were very friendly and accommodating. They both offered local advice and suggestions. The unit was clean, comfortable, and everything was as advertised. Having access to the kitchen/refrigerator was very helpful for us. Their place is just a brief walk from beautiful Lake Te Anau and there are several good dining options nearby. Te Anau is a great location from which to visit Milford Sound and explore the many awesome hikes in the area. We especially enjoyed the tour at the Te Anau Bird Sanctuary. The ranger was very personable and informative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

A awesome AirBnB with everything you need (including cooking facilities). You will have a wonderful view into the green while having the provided breakfast. Jane was a great host, thanks for having me at your place.

What an unexpected gem. We have so loved staying with Phil, not just for the comfy bed and delicious breakfast but for him. The conversations about New Zealand, the questions answered, the recommendations of secret places to visit. Staying up chatting with other international guests was so uplifting and all added to the stay. This is how BnB’s used to work and we loved our 3 night stay because of that. Big thanks to Phil for making our stay so special and welcoming.

Phil is a gracious and friendly host who shares his lovely home in a beautiful location. We particularly enjoyed the lovely views of the lake and snow sprinkled mountains in the distance, Phil's local knowledge and recommendations, and the tasty and nutritious breakfast which set us up for nicely for the day's activities. His house is an easy drive from Te Aneu and all of its amenities which for us included a great starting point for our bus tour and Milford Sound boat trip.

Jan and Jeff's Airbnb is just a few minutes from Te Anau - we based here to hike the Kepler Track and visit Milford Sound. Jeff and Jan are incredible hosts! They had great suggestions on food and sightseeing and gave us helpful info on the weather and drive to Milford. The hot tub, breakfast, and the adorable cat and dog were some of the highlights! Couldn't recommend this B&B more.

Linda and Jon's place has my highest recommendation if your are planning to visit New Zealand. It is located at just 5 mins drive from Te anau town center. It places you at a great place to explore both milford sound and doubtful sound. The listing is self contained and has your own private entry/exit . The vibe of the place is unmatched. You will be in absolute peace with a great view in front where you can see sun set. On a clear night sky, you will see milky way with different shades of night sky. There are no words to describe how great a host Linda is. I was a solo traveller but she made me feel at home. We had great conversations during breakfast on different topics. She recommended all great places I can hike. All her recommendations were spot on. I would highly recommend this place not just a detour to Milford/doubtful sound but also to have a great country side experience. I will be definitely returning here.
