Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Ontario

The home was spacious, beautifully designed, and had an amazing view. Our kids loved the toys and having so much room to play. We also enjoyed having a great park nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique space!

We had a great stay! The house was spotless and very well maintained. Having three full bathrooms was incredibly convenient for our group, and the hot tub was a perfect. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful little cottage and setting on the water!! Kayaks and hot tub were nice extras. To the left you can kayak forever, it’s so peaceful! We’ve never seen so many swans, it was like a movie. Even a deer came to visit us one morning while having coffee on the porch! We had a great stay !

We had a great stay at this peaceful lakeside retreat. The backyard opening directly onto the lake was the highlight, and we loved using the kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, BBQ, and firepit. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. While one toilet clogged and the other lacked a latch, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise excellent experience. Big thanks to our hosts. We recommend this place for anyone looking to relax by the water!

We had wonderful time on Gibbs Point! The house and location were just what we were needed. We loved being on the bay with Lake Ontario just a few hundred yards away. We spent a lot of time on water (having kayaks SUPs and a canoe available was amazing). Our teenage kids played ball and frisbee games in the lawn. We cooked delicious meals and ate on the deck. The house was so comfortable and clean.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this beautiful lake house in Sea breeze. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of Lake Ontario — especially from the spacious wraparound deck, where we spent mornings with coffee and evenings enjoying the sunset. The deck was perfect for both relaxing and entertaining, with panoramic views that made every moment feel special. Inside, the large, open kitchen with windows facing the lake made cooking and dining a pleasure. The home was spotless and well-maintained, with two very comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom featuring a large, luxurious shower. The living room was cozy and bright, with a large tv. Our host Kristin was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making check-in and communication seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful view, with a picturesque sunset and all the comforts you need for a quiet holiday. This is a truly special place, and we hope to come back again!

Check-in was smooth overall. I had some minor trouble with parking while finding the keys in the rain, but nothing serious. The apartment shows some wear — a few wobbly chairs, scuffed baseboards, and worn carpet. We used the sofa bed for the kids, but it felt unstable and collapsed easily. The sofa also looked quite tired and patched. Noise from the hallway and nearby subway was noticeable. The open-air parking lot outside charges $50 per night, which is steep — the covered garage across the street is a better option. On the bright side, the apartment was clean and the location excellent. Despite the rainy weather, being close to the city’s attractions was a big plus.

Just what we needed for our quick trip to the Toronto area. Transit was readily available via bus. The space was comfy, cozy, and clean! Trains pass by fairly closely but we didn't find that it was too loud. There are also grocery stores and food options nearby, within walking distance in case you forgot something for your trip or need to grab a bite. Overall, great stay and very happy with choosing this listing!

Our hosts were very understanding and accommodating despite our flight being canceled and having to come the next day. Communication was great. It felt like home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a place to stay in Toronto, you found it! We would 100% stay here when we visit again.

Very fun stay right downtown! The houses from the 45th floor were incredible, and the immaculate apartment was perfect. It looks exactly like the photos and there were no surprises. Very friendly, responsive host and so much to do right outside the building. Subway is only a block or so away and all of Toronto is easily accessible.

All round a fantastic place to stay, especially when looking to explore. Excellent location - it's steps from the 506 streetcar and a short ride to Dundas West TTC / Bloor GO and UP stations. The place itself is perfect for a short stay - smartly equipped including a kitchen. It was also very clean. It is a basement unit, so not an enormous amount of sunlight. It's on a very calm side street, so very quiet, too. Would book this again without hesitation.

I had a wonderful stay at Bwanka’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Bwanka was friendly, responsive, and made check-in really easy. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Nice place! All very clean, well equipped space, and with a great location - walking distance from locations such as the CN Tower and Aquarium. Ning was very responsive and proactive, amazing host.

We were in town to attend a couple Jays games and see DT Toronto. This location was great for both. Also easy access to Union station. Condo was just right for us.

The view of the CN tower stood out! And the location was equally as great. Walkable to Rogers Stadium, the waterfront (check out Ice Creamology) and the aquarium. We had a great time in Toronto and the evenings by the window view were great.

Perfect location - right in the middle of all downtown activities. Perfect hub for a busy few days in Toronto. High enough floor to feel like you're all by yourself and in the perfect oasis. Karl super responsive and friendly host - top rating there. Amazing place, will come back again for sure as my go to Toronto place to stay.

This place was all about the location. Easily walkable to U of Toronto, AGO, Queen's Park and many other Toronto landmarks. Around the corner from the busy restaurant patio scene and one of the jazz festival stages. Fortunately the unit was also amazingly quiet and we slept well! It's compact for sure but it had everything we needed.

Baraq’s unit was just what I needed for my weekend in Toronto. All the hotspots are within a comfortable walking distance. Rogers Center - Scotia Bank Place - CN Tower - Ripley’s…. All a stones throw from the amazing property. Which has restaurants - convenience stores - and a sportschek attached. An Uber pick up spot to ensure ease of travel. Also Baraq was a very responsive and helpful host. I would definitely recommend this to anyone - in fact - I may just book again

Great location and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Easy check in and good communication from host. Would recommend to anyone to anyone wanting to explore Toronto from a central location.
