This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

We had a pleasant stay at this cozy little spot in Denver, NC. The space was small but just right—perfect for a short stay or a solo traveler/couple looking for a comfortable place to relax. It had everything we needed, and the layout made good use of the space. The place was clean overall, though I did notice a couple of minor spots on the bathroom walls and in the living room that could use a little attention. Nothing major, and it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the stay. Communication with the host was smooth, and check-in was easy. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple, comfortable stay in the area!

Nice escape from the city, very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the house was great! Ashley was prompt to respond and we felt right at home. The nearby shopping center was also super convenient for last minute needs.

My family and I stayed at Austin’s home for a Father’s Day getaway and it did not disappoint. Austin’s house was exactly as pictured. Super clean, had all the things I needed away from home, and was so peaceful. My kids did not want to leave as his house provided them with all things outdoors that we don’t typically do. They enjoyed fishing, campfires, paddle boarding, jumping off the dock onto this floating island mat, touring Lake Norman on his beautiful boat and best of all having a BLAST on the water tube. My husband and I appreciated the relaxing hot tub while taking in all the beauty of the lake. Austin was so quick to respond to my questions and was just a joy!! We shared some special bonding time together as a family because Austin’s house provided the perfect space to do so. We would absolutely come back and stay at his place in the future.

The space was beautiful and looked just like the pictures! Tastefully decorated and thoughtful furniture placement with tables/lamps/etc. The kitchen was small but mighty! Fully stocked and had everything you’d need to cook a meal! Plenty of silverware and tableware, including plastic bowls and plates for kids! The coffee and cookies were a wonderful touch! The only thing to note is regarding accessibility. The only way to access the floors are with very narrow spiral stairs. Those with young children or limited mobility may have difficulty accessing all parts of the home. You can walk/drive around out back, but it would not be convenient. There is one half bath on the main middle floor and a full bathroom downstairs. The full bathroom could also benefit from a handheld shower head for those with limited mobility as well as showering young children. We did not venture out to the outdoor spaces much, but the inside was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment! We came for the Lovin' Life Music Fest; it was about a 20 minute, easy walk. Plenty of space in the apartment, beds were comfortable, couch was slightly on the small side, but there were only 2 of us, so it was fine. The key fob wasn't left in the lock box upon our arrival, but I reached out and was responded to in about 10 minutes and he was able to let us in. Definitely would recommend this place and if we come back to the festival, I would stay here again!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at the Tini House in Concord! The space is definitely tiny but so well distributed, every corner is thoughtfully used. The bed was super comfy, and little details like the rain boots and wood logs for the firepit made the experience extra special. The eco-shower was surprisingly refreshing and added to the charm of the place. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect spot to disconnect. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the shared eco-restroom, but overall, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you for the peaceful escape!

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Jim is one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever had. He was friendly and responsive and made sure that we had everything we could have possibly needed. His place was exactly as described, but the surroundings and peacefulness were even more than we expected. We enjoyed the pool and the bed is super comfortable! We will definitely plan to stay with Jim again when we are in the area.

Dave’s place was perfect. Very comfortable. He thought of everything. Very close to great restaurants The Amp stage is 5 minutes away. Ballantyne is a very nice and safe suburb of charlotte. Lots to do. If you go to charlotte Dave’s place is perfect for a couple. We’re definitely coming back. Thank you Dave!!

This charming cottage-style home was ideal for our getaway. It was clean and ready for use, conveniently located near the water, restaurants, and shopping. I appreciated having chairs on the porch and near the fire pit. Anne was proactive in her communication and replied promptly. We had a lovely time and recommend this location for others looking to disconnect.

I have no complaints, only positive things about our stay. The house and the location were perfect! I definitely loved that the house was exceptionally clean! Plenty to do at the house. We made complete use of all the activities included at the house. We felt right at home. They were very responsive every time I messaged them. We had no issues while there. We absolutely loved it there.

Absolutely beautiful home! The views from the porch are just amazing. The house was spotless and kitchen was very well equipped. Perfect home for a family vacation. Nice modern furniture and bed linens were good quality and comfy. Jessica was very helpful with any issues we had and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!!

The place was great, we loved our stay! Close to everything but very peaceful and quiet!

I want to say this place was so at home. I felt we were in cabin and being rural, at the same time so close to whatever we needed. the surrounding was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was so clean and equipped. My son loved the fact he could stay in loft by himself, and still being close to us. we loved to hear birds, and rooster singing around and we also meet some locals and neighbors; very friendly. Robin and Jay were so kind when I needed to talk to them and John helped me to find the local event, even though we didn't go (we had so much fun just being at cabin). Overall we loved, loved it and loved it. Thank you Robin and Jay for creating such a lovely place to stay in; felt so at home. Sarah, Jay and Benjamin

The house was as advertised: beautiful location, the outdoor space was really incredible, and the kitchen upstairs/theater setup downstairs were popular hang out spaces. The only issue was the alarms on the back doors. Each of the back sliding doors had a manual alarm that had to be pressed to exit and enter the house. They were incredibly loud, even when used as instructed. They are obviously there for safety reasons but it made it really difficult at times to be in and out of the house to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tammy's house at Lake Norman. It was the perfect house for our Memorial Day getaway. The house is fairly new with plenty of space and accommodations for guests. Our families both have little kids and the house came with a crib, high chair, and plenty of toys and games to keep them busy. At the same time, this house is immaculately decorated and would have been equally great for a girls weekend or adult vacation. It's right across the street from the lake and has really nice views of the water. Everything was a quick 10-20 minute drive (restaurants, mini golf, bowling) and Door Dash also delivers, so while it felt remote on a private street, it's not far from all the conveniences you need. Tammy was also very communicative and offered easy check in/out instructions, so everything was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Tammy!
