Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Mary

This home is gorgeous! The view is incredible. The home was well maintained, updated and so bright and airy. The lake had quite a bit of boaters but it wasn’t disruptive. We even saw sea planes taking off and landing. It is just as Natalie described it. She was very receptive and even texted me to let me know of a farmer’s market that was open while we were there. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful and big house with everything needed. Paula has great communication as well and nice. House was cleaned, more than enough towels, paper towels etc! Everything you need you will get it at this house as is your own house! very calm neighborhood as well. Would give her more than 5 stars!

Came for a birthday vacation and I def chose the right place to stay! The airbnb was close to Disney parks and gift shops. The home was just like the photos, everything was clean and beautiful 😊 The pool was so refreshing and clean, plus had a nice view of the pond. We even decided to stay an extra day, Dinara was super accommodating. I definitely recommend!

We stayed at this home with our family of 6. It had all the games, toys, and entertainment a family with four young kids could ask for! We had friends come over and visit us while we were there, and the big backyard with all the entertainment and the pool enclosed from the rain kept our two families happy while they were there with us. Night time, the backyard has lights, as well as the pool, there’s an electric fireplace that could warm us back up quick in the in betweens from our pool time. Just so well thought out how they put seating in every nook of this home, so no matter where our kids wondered, we had a place to relax while they played. We visited a couple springs about 30/40 minutes from our place (that require reservations online now - heads up), and even went to Sea World, and the beach a couple days. All only 1 hr - 1.5hrs from the house. The house felt like home away from home! Thank you for the wonderful home!

Great house with tons of space and a pretty lake view out back. Nice that the master is on the opposite end of the house from the rest of the guests. House was in excellent condition, in a quiet neighborhood, and the host was so helpful....even had coffee, crib sheets, and a high chair delivered (so our little one had a place to eat). We would recommend this to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The house was beautiful, waking up to the stunning lakeview in morning was truly a highlight. The amenities were exceptional, especially the kayaking. The sandy areas were perfect for relaxation, and the kids took full advantage of it! Made memories around the bonfire in the evening, roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. The host was welcoming and provided everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. Truly a peaceful gateway!

This was my second time staying in this gorgeous lake house and I’ve already booked my next stay. This is the absolutely perfect location for a peaceful family weekend and or reading weekend with girlfriends! Serene location with plenty around in easy driving distance. The downtown area is so cute. The host is responsive and kind and everything is needed in the house to feel like a home away from home. Can’t wait for my next trip!

We had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Cottage. Steve, Amy and their son were wonderful hosts. Steve was so easy to communicate with and immediately solved any issues that we had. We were very happy with the inside of the lovely cottage and totally enjoyed the front porch and beautiful backyard. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood especially to downtown Mt. Dora. The neighbors were extremely friendly and we got to know many of them. We highly recommend the Mermaid Cottage. Thank you Steve&Amy for a lovely vacation. Karen&Doug

As depicted in the photos, this is an older single wide trailer. Nothing fancy. But it has everything you need, is comfortable, allows pets, and is extremely well equipped and clean. Spotless actually. We did not use the provided kayaks or paddle boat, as we chose to go to the nearby springs instead. We had an awesome trip.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michele's place! Everyone loved it. The home exceeded all of our expectations. Check in was a breeze, the home was in excellent condition and beautiful, it was well equipped with everything we needed, and the back porch on the lake was wonderful. Michele is a terrific host and made everything very easy. No hassles, easy to follow instructions, check-out was simple and not overbearing. We highly recommend her home and will definitely return!

This house was beautiful and well taken care of. You can tell the owner loves the home and wants to make sure it is taken care of even when she’s not there. Lots of rules when staying here but we didn’t mind because it meant the same standards were being met by all guests. Loved watching the sunrise on the lake every morning! Couldn’t have asked for more!

We really enjoyed our stay in Auburndale! The location was perfect—less than 10 minutes from the baseball field where my son was playing, which made things so convenient. The house looked exactly like the photos and was spotless upon arrival. I’m a tough critic when it comes to cleanliness, and this home truly exceeded my expectations. It was not only clean but also very comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The pool was a great bonus, especially for cooling off between games. Every little detail was considered, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly flexible and responsive, and we truly appreciated their hospitality and help with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area!

Lorraine was very helpful and prompt with her communications. The house had a warm feeling and provided everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Lorraine’s property offered an amazing experience, and we look forward to coming back.

My husband and I were in the area for a Jr. EYBL basketball tournament for my son. We stayed in the house along with 2 other families and their boys. It was PERFECT!!! So spacious, clean, and well equipped. The lake view was incredibly beautiful! The patio was a nice space for the boys to hang out between games. There were tons of board and card games to keep them busy. There was a nice office space that one of the dads used daily since he had some work to do. The beds were big and so comfortable! I loved the MIL house. It was well furnished and spacious as well. Great for the early to bed people… ME! Richard and Braden were very nice and allowed us a late checkout since our game was a little later on Sunday. I had only 1 question while there and I got a quick response. We have traveled a lot together and everyone agreed this is definitely in our top houses and we’ve stayed in and if ever in the area again, we will be back!

This location is hands down my favorite property in the Orlando area. The house was so much better than the pictures and descriptions! We had so many options from the multiple game rooms, the theater, the pool to keep the entire family occupied, we really could have skipped the parks and still had a great vacation. Chris was extremely helpful, sending information and instructions well in advance of check-in. He was very quick to respond to any message I sent. The kids said on the way home that this was their best vacation EVER! They can't wait to stay at this property again when we come back to Orlando.

If in Orlando, look no further. Michael's place is definitely where you want to stay! The house is cozy, comfortable and spacious! But the ourdoor area is absolutely incredible!! It feels like your own personal oasis that you do not have to share with anyone. The sunsets from the pool and hottub are stunning. If you want a relaxing vacation poolside or a place close to all the action of the parks this it!! You will not be disappointed! The Millers

Me and my 4 children had a great stay at Christian's. Restful when we needed a break from the heat and lines of Universal and between the movie theater and pool kept everyone very entertained. Would definitely look to rebook this home in the future.

This was the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at! It’s super convenient if you’re visiting the Disney parks daily. We were able to go in the morning, come home and relax and go back out in the evening. My kids loved the private pool and the game room. All in all, this is the perfect house for a family if you’re here to visit Disney! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to book again!
