House vacation rentals in Lake Lucerne

How often do you get to stay in the home of an artist? Jürg made an ordinary house into a work of art. His creativity transformed every, floor, wall and ceiling with color, stones, art and details that were fun to discover and notice all week long. Staying at Casa Toscana was a unique and memorable experience. Most enjoyable was the covered patio with fire place so that we could cook and eat outside every night the weather was nice.

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Super close to a tram stop which made it easy to get into Zurich. Safe and quiet neighborhood. My mother in law ended up having emergency surgery while we were there - the hospital is a 3 minute walk from the house. Thomas and his family were so kind and helpful during a stressful situation. While the vacation did not go as planned, being in such a beautiful space made all the difference! We would love to come and stay at Thomas' home anytime!

I can’t say enough about how great our stay was. The house is amazing. The views are spectacular. We were met with a generous basket of food and drinks. The house was very clean. Jordana was super responsive to all questions. We loved it and hope to come back!

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Great place, very big and clean

The house was immaculate, spacious, and very modern! We loved our stay here, the hosts were amazing, Sarah’s husband met us on the bus, guided us to their place, and even helped us get the luggage upstairs! The views of the mountains were wonderful and we loved how even though it was in a neighborhood, it felt private! Loved hearing the cow bells!!

This was a great, eventful week in a great house! The newly built wooden house is cozy, exudes the charm of a mountain hut - but is also modern and very comfortable. It doesn't get any better than that, you can't build a better accommodation like this! We took some hikes in the immediate vicinity (on Christoph's friendly recommendation) and can recommend the house and Christoph as a host without restriction. If we vacation at Lake Lucerne once again, we will certainly return here.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more amazing. (Actually, I talked about it just because of the scenery. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my eyes.) I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. It can be difficult to find if the surroundings are too dark, so pay attention to the check-in time! If you're late like us, you'll have a hard time. Even though we arrived later than the original check-in time, the host was very worried that we would not be able to find the house and waited for us to check in. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is private and peaceful but easy to access hotspots and hiking, look no further! 10/10 would recommend!!

Our children felt right at home— immediately making art with the paper Sonja left for them. We appreciated all the details and supplies for child-friendly stay. Walking to the lake and jumping in was a highlight. The views from the family room were stunning.

Very nice house in front of a great backdrop. Beat and family were incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, but we used the hot tub and the fireplace in front of the house all the more extensively. We can only recommend staying with Beat to everyone.

The views from this place are stunning. The house is spacious and homely. Lovely balcony and garden. It has everything you could possibly need. We ate in every evening and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bus was reliable and free with the Guest Pass which was a bonus. It only took 10 mins to get into Luzern, a lovely town. Grocery shops are a little far away so we used the shopping centre at the station. A fantastic base to explore the region... I highly recommend this place.

Judith's place feels like home!Clean and warm.My parents enjoyed their stay.There are cows and chickens in the farmhouse nearby, the neighbor's little orange cat ran into the garden, and I borrowed Judith's bike to go around the neighborhood.Very special experiences

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. It is very comfortable, decorated with love and great taste. Everything is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week-long stay as a small family. Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. We stayed with our 2 small children in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. Many attractions can be reached in about 20-40 minutes by car, mostly via highway 2. The guided tour is highly recommended.

Apart from our little mishaps with the luggage, which partially ruined our holiday, the place itself was nice — a welcome escape from the busy city to the peaceful quiet of the mountains with a view.

Grindelwald Main Street, a short walk from the station. The location is really nice and the room is much bigger than the picture. The wide field that can be seen from the window is nice because it is a place that only guests can use. There are chairs and tables in the yard, and you can feel that the host's loving accommodation is all over the place. Even the faucet and tiles in the bathroom were beautiful:) I want to use this friendly place again next time.

Individual wooden cabin inside a small, very quiet campsite. Small but very well used spaces, perhaps the only thing that is too small is the sink. But life in the cabin is comfortable. Beautiful mountain environment, many nearby trails.

We had a great stay with our 3 children in this very comfortable, cozy and very well-equipped apartment. The setting is simply magical!!
