Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Koocanusa

Enjoyed a very peaceful & quiet stay in Ash's cozy Bellevue house, yet again. Beautiful mountain views from large windows within, as well as from the deck. Great base for exploring the Crowsnest area. Look forward to future visits!

We have being renting this place for 10 years for our annual golf trip. There are 8 of us and we all get our own bedroom. The hot tub was great therapy for our old and sore bodies after each round of golf. There are numerous quality golf courses within 35 minutes. Jenn was very quick to respond to any queries we had during our stay. We can't wait for next year.

If I could give this place 5+, I would. Extremely clean, amenities were upgraded and the views were amazing! The home was a little hidden off the roads but instructions were very clear & close enough to town.

Second stay at this beautiful place! Very welcoming as well as the owners. Great communication. The tree house is a must to come check out. The view from there is just breathtaking. My boys love coming here. we will definitely come back in the near future.

We had a great stay at David's place with two families with two infants. It is a beautiful space with incredible mountain views, all the amenities you could ask for (and extras like a Breville Espresso machine!) and super safe and accommodating for young families. Highly recommend and will keep in mind for future getaways to Fernie.

Heather & Darren’s place was amazing. It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed — even small things you don’t usually expect. It was great for kids too, with toys, playpen and more that made the stay really easy. And the view… absolutely breathtaking. Whether it was morning coffee or just sitting out in the evening, the scenery from the place was something special. Pictures don’t do it justice. Check-in was simple, and the hosts were friendly and easy to talk to. The place is a little hard to find with the instructions but only the first time. We had a great time and would love to come back!

We had such a great stay at this home! It was perfect for our big family trip—tons of space for everyone to hang out together or sneak off for some quiet time. The house is beautifully done, very modern and clean, but still super cozy. The beds were really comfortable, and we all slept well. We loved the huge windows and peaceful views—just trees, meadows, and quiet. The kids had a blast exploring outside while we relaxed on the deck and backyard. The bathrooms felt like something out of a spa. It’s close enough to town for groceries, coffee, and dinner out, but still feels like a retreat in the woods. It is close to Beaver Lakes trailhead for hikes and/or mountain bike rides, which is really beautiful. Would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable Airbnb with plenty of space in a great location, just outside of town.

This was a great house! Beds were firm and plenty of pillows. Water pressure in the shower was great. There were enough kitchen items for our family of 4. Enjoyed the welcome treats and coffee was supplied. Easy access to stores and fun. If you stay, the House of Mystery is a must see!!

Very nice, quiet and clean place. Perfect after working a night shift at the hospital. Easy to get to and clear instructions.

Couldn’t have been any happier with the accommodations. Clean, with a cozy feel…and had “extras” like bear spray to borrow for our hiking adventures. Cheryl was friendly during a couple brief encounters…the space felt very private despite the owners living upstairs. Was quick to respond when asked about restaurant recommendations. Great experience for a reasonable cost. If I ever come back to Montana, would definitely book this property again.

Brett and Andrea’s place is truly a hidden gem—peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a getaway. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there were plenty of cozy blankets and pillows, ideal for unwinding and watching a movie. If we find ourselves back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay! So peaceful and surrounded by nothing but nature but still only a 10-15 minute drive into Whitefish. Patti and Jim are extremely nice and friendly and I would absolutely stay there again! 10/10 would recommend

Great place to stay with access to so many things to do. Dan recommended great places to see the sights in addition to our bucket list. Loved drive to Polebridge with the stop at Home Ranch Bottoms for smash burgers on the way. Buffalo Cafe in Whitefish, Lake Koocanusa & Kootenai Falls & suspension bridge, family loop trail at Holbrook Overlook. All in addition to Glacier National Park. AMAZING location for a home base to do it all. Thanks Dan!

We had a wonderful time at Genevieve’s place! Check in was super easy and the place was spotless with everything we needed. The unit is really nice, very comfortable and in an amazing location right next to a large network of trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Beyond being comfortable and quiet, the place is beautiful - the artwork is fun and thoughtfully selected, the appliances and kitchenware are high-quality; the place is PERFECT. The location is great, close to town. The balcony is great with a bbq grill to enjoy the nice weather out with some lake view. The host is very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Nice size pool and relaxing hot tub after a day of adventure. Comfortable and clean with great amenities!

Lisa's is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay at. Everything was there that we needed. We enjoyed watching wildlife from the balcony.
