Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Koocanusa

Our group of 5 truly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. The hosts made us feel extremely welcome and were kind enough to allow us an early check-in with very short notice. They also installed a new window AC unit in the front of the house in preparation for the hot weather forecasted during our stay. Very thoughtful! The back bedrooms got a little warm even with blinds closed during the day, but there were plenty of fans to go around. I’m sure if we asked the hosts for additional fans or portable AC unit, they would have happily accommodated. The home was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and had some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. We loved the location, so close to the marina and other services. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts were top notch!

My wife and I stayed here for one of the best months ever! This place was so amazing, we almost didn't want to leave the property. The house was absolutely spotless, even in areas that usually get overlooked. It was in a very safe and quiet area that felt secluded in nature, but still within about 15 minutes of everything you could need. Brooke and Dallas were super responsive and helpful in case anything came up. There were deer in the yard at times, trout and salmon just off the dock, and a bald eagle would often fly overhead. There are two parks nearby which are great for walking, and of course it's not far from Whitefish or Glacier NP destinations. We want to come back already!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular views. We loved it so much we extended our stay and are already talking about coming again next year. There is a nice hiking trail right down the road and other hiking and biking trails a short drive away. We were able to kayak right off the pier, although there are a number of stairs you need to take down to the water which was clearly shown in the photos. Brandy was very helpful with local recommendations and immediately responsive to our questions. We had a great week!

We had a group of 7 (3 kids and 4 adults) and we found ourselves so comfortable at Nicholas’ place! I have never been to a CLEANER AirBnb and the beds were all super comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and cozy. It was truly a perfect landing spot after our adventures horseback riding, fishing, glacier and a rodeo! We had the best time in Montana and this home was a big reason why. Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations!

We have rented Mark's house for a week last summer and again this summer. Because of the size and layout of the house, it was perfect for our family group which included 4 babies ranging in age from 3 months to 2 years. Mark has put a lot of effort into adding features to the house to deal with the extreme heat this summer, adding outdoor window shades, indoor blackout blinds, extra air conditioning and portable fans. The well stocked kitchen, bikes and kayaks add to the convenience of staying at his house. Mark's response time to any question is extremely quick. It is obvious he wants his guests to have the best possible experience at this property. He is definitely a 5 star host.

Beautiful cabin to enjoy some piece and quiet on Ashley Lake! The dock is shallow but we were able to fit our older Malibu no problem.

We were thankful for the comfortable mattress and lush bed linens as well as the pristine kitchen. The location was great for our daily adventures in town and the park. The host was proactive and encouraged us to reach out with any issues-there were none!

We had a great and comfortable stay at Tess’s place. All clean and updated, great showers and amenities, Confortable beds too. The view is also very nice! Thank you Tess!

Our stay at Suzanne and Mari’s was lovely, from the delicious homemade chocolate birthday cake for our granddaughter, to the beautiful garden complete with some visiting deer. We loved every minute.

What a fabulous place to stay in Whitefish. The host, Stephanie, communicated right from the start and followed up during our stay. I had to amend my original booking and Stephanie was great, nothing was a problem. Such a positive and friendly person. The studio is beautiful and wants for nothing. Super clean and well appointed. The location is right on the lake and adjacent to the walk/bike path into town. We didn’t use our car in the evenings, just walked to get dinner. You’ll wish you lived there. Completely turn key. Don’t need to say much about Whitefish that has been said already. An abundance of outdoor activities with such a minimal human footprint. I’ve stayed at a few other Airbnb’s. This lakeside studio is what they should all aspire to.

This was a great place for our stay to visit Glacier. Walt and Elizabeth were very helpful and prompt to respond when needed. Thanks for sharing with us

Whitefish lake and the downtown are a fantastic place to spend time while visiting Glacier National. Crystal made very good suggestions for everything we were interested in. we cannot wait to visit again, and stay longer.

Beautiful place to stay with a perfect back porch to take in the nature and see a few deer! We were especially big fans of the shower and heated floor in the bathroom :) Thanks!!

The lower level Apartment entrance is at the rear so bit of steps to find front door- facing lake. The two bedroom was a great set up. Beds comfy, windows open to lake in each room. The road to home has incline and had some ice. Might need all wheel or 4wd. We contacted them and they put sand on road for us. That did the trick and didn’t need our chains after that. The group was responsive and helped us each time we reached out. If you want to make a pizza bring a pizza cutter. We went to town and drove to west glacier park it was beautiful even with some road closures.pretty close and easy to get to.

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! It was so peaceful and quiet. Looked exactly like the pictures. Was one of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve ever been to. Had stainless steel pots/pans and coziest furniture. Kayaks were awesome!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's house by the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the view of the water every morning was a dream. The house had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Ryan was a great host — responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Whether relaxing on the deck, enjoying the lake, or just sitting by the fire-pit in the evening, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic escape. We’d love to come back again!

Beautiful house, perfect for a scenic vacation right by glacier national park. House was in a quiet area, very comfortable, and well maintained. Libby was extremely communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

A wonderful spot on a beautiful lake. The house and amenities were as described, with a great central floor space in the house for family to gather. The road to the lake to launch the boat was a bit of a challenge, but manageable. Overall it was a lovely spot in a great location, private and well maintained.

The place itself is amazing, the lake is right there for you to enjoy and Aita left all the tools you need to do so which is very much welcome! We had a lot of fun, exploring nearby areas as well not just the lake However, a word of caution and I know this is probably outside the host’s control is that the neighbours from the big white house just before Aita’s place can be very loud and not considerate of others trying to enjoy it The houses are very close to each other and a couple of the nights that neighbour was operating some machines, maybe an ATV? Snowmobile? Not sure but it was extremely loud and woke us all up at 11pm Moreover their dog kept coming after our dogs, which are protective of their place of sleep, so we couldn’t enjoy the lake with our dogs because they were bigger and we were afraid of something bad happening Also they used Aita’s tools without even knowing who was the owner, I know because they asked if I was the owner (??) when giving the boat back

great place for a family getaway. Lots of games to play and the pool table was a fun addition as well. the deck was our favorite. very beautiful with great scenery.

My husband, 15 year old son, and I just spent 5 nights at. Rhondas cabin! Rhonda has thought of every extra amenities. She had kayaks, paddleboard life jackets, etc. for my boys to use. Ashley Lake is comparable to the beautiful Carribean! We literally felt like we were in the Carribean. The water is so blue and crystal clear. She has a very nice patio and grill. We were traveling from TX to Montana, so we didn't have a lot of seasonings. No worries, the cabin was so well stocked with seasonings . Her grill is extremely nice, and so was her stove and oven. Her neighbor Tim was so kind. He offered all the best fishing advice for my guys! There is no air conditioning conditioning, but it got down in the the, 40s we did not. need it. I even wore sweatshirts some mornings. We had originally booked it for 4 nights but loved it so much we booked another . We will definitely return!
