Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Daylesford

Nice little cottage in the bush. Freezing cold when we arrived (no surprise, it's winter), but the fire eventually warmed the whole house up.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

A little oasis perfectly situated next to the Botanic Gardens! Heaps of space for a couple, plus a beautiful veranda out the back. The spa was a treat! Would stay again.

Had the most amazing stay! This little cottage is full of charm and the perfect place to escape to for rest and relaxation. The property is lovely and the cottage itself is cozy and well-equiped with everything you need (and more). The bath on the veranda was totally divine! Hosts also have a great collection of records and CDs which gave the whole stay its own 5-star soundtrack. My only regret not staying longer!

Loved our stay at Tara, lovely cottage and great location. Everything you needed including extra blankets for cold winter nights. Enjoyed our walk into town for breakfast. Thanks Kaley and John

Beautiful little area, easy to find and clear check-in instructions, the spa was the perfect temperature, very clean and the perfect distance from town to be walkable but also nice and quiet and very private. The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

What a wonderful peaceful property, extremely clean, very comfortable beds, plenty of amenities, communication with John and Linda was excellent and very responsive. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful get away in a lovely environment inside and out. My son and I went to view the stars with his telescope, the skies were amazing too. This was my third stay and it just keeps getting better. The converted shed is absolutely stunning – rustic, full of character, and incredibly well put together. The wood fire creates such a warm, cozy vibe, and the quality of the space is second to none. It’s the perfect country escape – peaceful, beautifully styled, and in an ideal location. Clearly a lot of love has gone into creating this space. One of my favourite Airbnb stays, and I’ll definitely be back again.

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Great place especially with the fur babies and they were welcomed! Stephanie was a great communicator and always on hand if you needed something ! Very private regardless of the number of cottages on site! We will be back ❤️

Great little cabin, short drive from townships of Hepburn and Dayelsford. Emma was excellent with communication.

Beautiful spot. Really clean and cosy place. Weather was awful but we didn’t mind ! With plenty of firewood ready to go, we were happy to stay inside and snuggle up by the fire and watch DVDs. Would love to come and stay again.

I loved my stay at this beautiful studio. It felt relaxing and calm. The views were beautiful as were the gardens that Nicola has created on the property. I highly recommend a stay here.

This is our second stay at Andy and Pauls place. It was just as awesome as our first stay. The place is clean, warm, comfortable and well thought out. We felt right at home within the beautiful surroundings of Daylesford.

We loved our getaway to Hepburn Springs! The house was cozy, we loved the wood fire, and the amenities were clean and nice! Everything was explained well and we had no issues with anything on our stay!

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Nicole was an excellent host too.

This was a lovely little cottage. Heaters were on and the place was lovely and warm. The kids loved the toys that were supplied. Perfect spot and great value for money, won’t look else where next time would just book here again. Thanks again

We absolutely loved our stay at Minna and Peter's 'Le Shack' The location was just perfect, with birdlife and roos viewable from the deck and windows. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was a small air conditioner which we barely used (a couple of the days were quite hot) and leaving the windows open at night was enough. It felt secluded but so close to Daylesford and lots of amazing places to visit. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Minna and Peter.

Highly recommend this lovely cottage . We felt very much at home . Crisp sheets , soft towels , fresh bread , wine & chocolates. And - a towel warmer warming fresh towels for a hot shower after our long trip from Queensland. Just perfect .

Ari and Chanelle‘s cottage is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful airbnbs we’ve stayed at. They thought of literally everything and our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back!

Tranquillo was a beautiful cottage. Walking distance to the Main Street where it was bustling with cafes, restaurants, antiques, homewares etc. we took our bikes and rode most of the tourist places and walked up for dinner and breakfast every day. The cottage was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Rebecca for an amazing stay at your cottage.

The most beautiful warm delicious house. The moment we walked in, we felt right at home. It was the most freezing cold weekend but the heater, fireplace and electric blankets kept us toasty. Every corner of the house was perfect, with vintage furnishings and the most comfy beds, not to mention the gardens to look out on. Thanks so much for creating this beautiful space.
