Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. HOMES TO LOVE, AUSTRALIAN TRAVELLER & URBAN LIST have also discovered her charms & placed our beautiful little home in their online "Best Of" lists. Just fab! :)

The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

Beautiful and quaint -just like the photos. The bathroom was great. Plenty of hot water and a decent shower nozzle. The place had everything we needed including a fireplace and split system heater. Lizzie was responsive and the place is easy to find-just a 5 min drive from Castlemaine. There are properties around you so this is not rural acreage but there is a small area out the front to sit and watch the world go by. Would definitely stay again

What a beautiful place to stay for a few nights. Close to Daylseford and Kyneton which are lovely to visit, all while staying somewhere very peaceful and quiet. We loved it here, there are kangaroos everywhere. The house is very well fitted out, warm with a lot of room. We loved the pizza that Stephanie made us. Our dog really enjoyed the walks - one thing for all dog owners to note is the very safe and secure yard around the house. Our dog was able to wander around without us having to worry about her getting out of the yard! We will definately be back.

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Cute little cottage, Brett was very generous with extras and the wine was lovely. The garden was delightful. We had a full day so got home too late to light the fire but plenty of wood was on hand if we needed it. Check in was easy and Brett was able to be flexible with our time. Location was 4 minutes from the event place where we had our social gathering and an easy walk into town.

Tranquillo was a beautiful cottage. Walking distance to the Main Street where it was bustling with cafes, restaurants, antiques, homewares etc. we took our bikes and rode most of the tourist places and walked up for dinner and breakfast every day. The cottage was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Rebecca for an amazing stay at your cottage.
