Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Davis

An absolutely fantastic place, great layout, very cozy, private, incredible location. I liked that just about every bedroom has it's own full bathroom, a rare and hard to find commodity when searching for a place to stay on vacation. Another big plus is the amenities of the Nakoma Resort were included, WOW!!! Lets not forget about the views off the back deck of the green on the 6th hole of The Dragon GC. I especially liked the binder showing the lakes around the area, I caught some Largemouth bass at Lake Davis. Looking forward to doing this again next year. This place set the bar for other Airbnb‘s. The host was extremely accommodating and communicative. There are always going to be issues that arise, although the difference maker is those Hosts who make themselves available to work through things with you, which is what this host did. Lake Almanor was a hidden gem and we will be returning. Depending on The lake level, the house is about 50 yards from the dock, truly lakefront In the summer months, make sure wake up early to catch the sunrise OR it will wake you up with a sweat! Use the fans provided by the host or else! One last mention, the host has those other essentials ready like bug spray, ziplocks, some extra ice etc. The cherry on top was the TP (or should I say bottom?!), this TP was better than the one I buy for my house - our butts were was on vacation too! For those who need to work or use the Internet, be sure to check in with the host to make sure their internet connection has been upgraded/updated, as it was a bit sl

What a PERFECT landing pad for 10 of us visiting the resort for a family wedding. The house is perfectly set up where you don’t feel crowded despite so many people in one home. The area is gorgeous and we arrived right at full bloom of the local wildflowers surrounding the home. 3.5 bathrooms was perfectly suffice; water for showers were always hot (again, despite the many people using the amenities). Beds were super comfortable as was the giant living room couch that many of us took naps on. Loved hanging on the back porch enjoying the peaceful surroundings in the sun. Host was exceptionally responsive and kind. Would recommend this home to anyone and would absolutely return. 5 stars - no question!

We rented this home as a team of professionals while in the area for a work project. Travis and Brittany were more than accommodating. Each and every question that we had was answered very quickly and the home was perfect! Keypad instructions, wifi, and every other small detail you might come up with, they have an clearly laid out the answers for. The home is amazing -- and exactly as pictured and desribed in the profile. This is an outstanding place with every comfort of home. The hosts truly do a wonderful with communication when/if needed and otherwise, the home is excellent in every way. We will definitely be bookmarking for future travel to this this area.

Loved the cabin! Beds are very comfortable and scenery was beautiful. It was nice walking to our tee time every day being so close to Grizzly Ranch.

Best AirBnB rental we've ever had. Everything about the house and yard (fenced in backyard for the dog!) is accurately described in the listing. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed and beautiful home. We had a group of 5 adults (two couples and one single) and one large dog. Plenty of space to spread out in the house - for working, studying, napping, playing games, dining, cooking, watching a movie, and just generally hanging out. (Note that all of the bedrooms are upstairs, along with the two full baths, but the downstairs half bath and laundry room is very convenient.) Modern home, and yet warm and almost rustic feeling. We hope to return in spring or summer, and again in winter.

A great place surrounded by beautiful mountains and valley. The check in was easy and had no trouble finding the place. Despite the place not having heating, the cold mornings felt nice as it got hot during my days at work in the area. The location of this place was because it is next to where I work in the forest and is right off the hwy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking this place again.

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin had everything we needed – from a BBQ grill to a propane center table, and all the comforts of home. Melinda went above and beyond in every way. Just a note for EV drivers: the nearest charger is about 65 miles away, and due to the climb, the car uses more battery than expected. You’ll also need extra charge for the return trip and any local driving, so bringing a home charger is highly recommended. Thanks again for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was fun to explore the property. A highlight for us was a couple of hikes and a lake swim at the Lakes Basin area, around 25 min from the property. It is hot in the summer, so be prepared. The Lakes Basin was a bit cooler

We had an excellent stay, despite the smoke from the Park fire. Karen was very responsive and willing to work with us if we decided the smoke was going to be too much. The house was beautifully decorated and worked perfect for our family of 4. Having a boat slip you could see from the balcony was such a nice touch. The neighbors were all very nice. We will be back!

Stayed in Sierra City for our daughter's wedding this weekend. Diane's place was perfect for us, lots of room in the kitchen for setting up the flowers! Comfortable and quiet. This place is on our list for a return visit.

Second time visiting. Enjoyed the rustic charm of the cabin and the peaceful forest around. Wonderful place to slow down and rest away from the buzz. Big Pond is full in spring and kayaking it alongside geese was such a wonderful experience! Appreciate the place and Adam being such a welcoming host.

Responsive helpful hosts of a nice comfortable cabin in a brilliant location. My party of 10, one friend couldn't make it, really enjoyed our long weekend stay surrounded by snow and the beautiful lake.

Laurie's place was in such a beautiful location. She communicated clearly with me and emailed directions and house manual information. Unfortunately, the only time I had from my business happened to be one of the hottest times of the year. We knew there was no A/C but had hopes that it would be a little cooler in the mountains. When we arrived it was just too hot for our comfort with 100 degree weather. We ended up going back home just 40 minutes from her place so I can't comment on our actual stay. However, Laurie was awesome and communicated great and the place was such a beautiful and quaint getaway. We hope to stay sometime in the future. A great spot for the doggos to have a weekend in nature!

We had a really nice stay at this cabin! There were many little details that made it very comfortable, like great water pressure in the shower and nice, hot water, lots of towels, lots of places to hang things, nothing was broken, the bed was comfortable. The decor was also very cute! Checking in and out was easy, too. We liked it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - looking forwarding to coming back and exploring the area again.

The cabin was amazing!!! The view spectacular!!! Loved everything about it! We were in the area for a wedding. While putting things away I discovered that I forgot my dress!!!! I called Tiffany to ask were to go shopping for one, she offered to let me borrow one of hers!!! How incredibly sweet! I ended up wearing black slacks and a nice top that I had as I couldn't find anything in Quincy. I was way more comfortable!!! Turned out better for me :) Love how the hall bath has access from the bedroom. Perfect place for two couples! I highly recommend staying here! Thank you Tiffany!!!!!!
