You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle has calmed down, and it is a season when you can enjoy a quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, making it suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available at Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transportation and sightseeing transfers are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (both ways) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours one way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance as we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the latter half of summer vacation, as well as for couples and small groups.

Surrounded by the chirping of birds and the clear air, we have created a special space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly relax. The interior is compact but calm, with the warmth of wood, and you can enjoy the seasonal changes of the forest from the window. It offers a luxurious time to wake up in the morning to the light of the mountains and to gaze at the starry sky at night. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry skiing, hiking, and forest walks, and is recommended for couples or partners looking for a stay in harmony with nature. It is also in the center of Hakuba Village, so please enjoy your own special time in the tranquility of the Northern Alps. We can also pick you up at Nagano Station. Please let us know if you would like this. We will provide seamless service without you having to wait in line for a bus. You can stay here as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. During the day, there is a cool breeze at around 20°C, and you may want to have something to wear in the morning and evening.

Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without worrying about the weather. The design and supervision of this listing was done by the Ryosuke Fujii Architectural Institute fujiilab. The listing has 3 bedrooms, 2 beds each, and can accommodate up to 6 people. Eco Land's restaurants are about a 5-10 minute walk away. There are also cafes and restaurants right near the listing. Happo-one Ski Resort and Nagi Mountain Slope are about 5 minutes away by car. The Hakuba Valley winter shuttle bus stop is a 5-minute walk. Free pick-up and drop-off between Hakuba Station or bus stops in Hakuba Village and the listing are available once at check-in and once at check-out. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
