This was a lovely little cottage. Very peaceful location. Host friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Very clean, pretty and nicely presented property with log burner and underfloor heating. Well thought out and good use of space as it is quite wee! We actually really enjoyed not having a TV and sitting reading our books by the fire. We would have preferred a microwave rather than an air fryer. The area is beautiful with lots to explore very locally as well as further afield. Great for sea kayaking and cycling.

Had a delightful week at Tigh Bhaan, the house was lovely as was the surrounding countryside. Being able to watch wildlife (otter, red deer, badgers, owl, pine martens) all from the comfort of your front room was great, the TV wasn’t turned on the whole week!

Tigh Darach is a beautiful home in a glorious location. A stunning wood-frame construction built with a wonderful eye for design, light and space. Everything was good quality, eco and in the best possible taste. Not only aesthetic but also extremely comfortable! A lovely family home that they are happy to share with us via Airbnb. I have just spent a lovely week in North Studio - the weather wasn't the best but the Ardnamurchan peninsula is spectacular and Salen is ideally placed to explore all over the area; it's easy to get the ferry to Mull as well. A short walk from the studio is the Salen jetty shop, a must for essentials like bread, milk and indeed anything else you need. The studio is well equipped and cosy, and the bed was particularly comfortable. The views from the little patio over Loch Sunart are glorious....overall, it's a super location, well recommended!
