The mountains are right outside the property and Saint-Point lake is just a few kilometers away. In summer, the Metabief resort is famous for its many downhill mountain bike and hiking trails, set in bucolic surroundings. In winter the resort will also delight you if you are looking for a family friendly ski place. Metabief is 15 minutes from the Swiss border.

Chalet “mazot” dans un écrin de verdure avec petit jardin privatif et terrasse. Situé au coeur du parc naturel du Haut Jura et de la région des lacs, à 820 M d’altitude, le chalet est un havre de paix. Le Lac d’Etival à 1,5KM, commerces à 9KM( Clairvaux les Lacs), pistes de ski de fond à 6KM, pistes ski de descente à 30 minutes en voiture. Nombreuses balades ou VTT à faire depuis le chalet. Autres activités sports nautiques, équitation, accrobranche,raquettes, luge tout dans un rayon de 15KM.

Guests can enjoy the balcony to admire the beautiful sunsets and have a pleasant time. 5-minute walk to Lake St. Point, at the foot of snowshoeing trails in winter and hiking trails in summer. Malbuisson has several restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Shops nearby (bakery, supermarket, butcher and organic store) 10 minutes from Métabief and 15 minutes from Switzerland. On the Laveron plateau, at an altitude of about 1000 m, in our small hamlet of Granges-Dessus, come and discover our cottage "Au Bois Joli", designed for lovers of calm and nature. The region offers many activities, both sporting and cultural, such as hiking and mountain biking (from the cottage), tree climbing, swimming, sailing, canoeing (20 km) Château de Joux, bell foundry, cheese factories... The proximity to Switzerland (30 km) will take you to other horizons.
